Excellent. I'll raise a glass to cheer the fact he'll likely die alone in prison.
Just think. This wasn’t even the worst news of the day for Trump. It would appear to be highly probable with Cohen pleading guilty to counts 7 and 8 of his indictment that President Trump has become an unindicted co-conspirator. The last time a President was unindicted co-conspirator was President Nixon. And you know how that went.
And there you have it.
Paul Manafort is the kinda guy our president thinks is a "good guy." Said so himself.
You can't write scandal like this. What a House of Cards!
Can't wait to see the Trumpkins try to deflect and spin this. I wonder if they will use the same blah, blah, blah or get creative?
Gee, there were an awful lot of criminals in Trump's election campaign. Does anybody have a theory for what the common denominator was?
"As a legal matter, this is a complete and total defeat for Manafort. He will get the same sentence that he would have received if he was convicted on all 18 counts.
The number of counts of conviction doesn’t impact federal sentencing."

Perhaps years of looking into his birth records, or U1, or Benghazi were a waste (in the case of Hillary). How much time and money were spent on those issues?
It's shameful and dangerous that such criminals are so close to the presidency. I don't think we can trust this administration or the judgement of our president if he surrounds himself with these kinds of people.
I guess you didn't hear his so called "solitary" was probably just as go as most high end hotels with lots of privileges.
Trump will pardon him.
What's to spin? What Manafort has been convicted of has nothing to do with Trump.
Not really. Had there been to a special counsel to scrutinize every member of the Obama team, I'm guessing the same thing would have happened.
I appreciate the sincere work of the jury.
My two cents:
Penny 1: There was no call for the way Manafort was treated by Mueller (the terrifying pre-dawn raid) and holding him in solitary the way he was.
Penny 2: If there isn't a good rerun on, I may actually tune in to "Hannity" for a few minutes tonight just to see what he has to say now.
He's got another trial scheduled and can be retried for the 10 counts that are (fabricating a word here) mistrialed in this one. So if trump pardons him on these eight... Manafort still has a long perp walk to continue.

Classic :lamo:lamo
Speaks volumes about Trump. You just don't hear it.
There are lots of names, Penny Pritzker is one, that likely would have been convicted of something like tax fraud if there were a "Mueller" trying to dig up dirt on them. Are you really this naïve?

Well, if your neighbor's live in a swamp, where do you live?
