All foreign nationals in the US should have a federal form of ID.

well they have no problem getting a green card and social security card. a federal form of ID should.be no problem.

if you really want to stop illegal immigration then all you have to do is make everify mandantory and.put a $10,000.00 fine in place for.Americans hiring them.Republicans won't do it. They want that cheap illegal labor here.

So then why is it Republicans who want the Wall and don't support sanctuary cities? Seems a disconnect between your opinion again and reality.

politics. it plays well with their base.

have they appropriated any money for a wall? is it being built?

have they done anything about sanctuary cities?

have you ever heard a republican say anything about the Americans who hire them?

republicans have given lip service to their constituents hot button issues for decades. Have they ever really addressed any of them?

I know that civics isn't a strong suit for you but 1.6 Billion is in the 2019 budget, Trump's FIRST BUDGET, for the Wall and construction has already started. Don't expect you to be up to date on any information as the left won't tell you this.

How about proving your allegations instead of just spouting leftwing opinions. What Republican businesses are hiring ILLEGALS?

Sanctuary cities? Again haven't been paying any attention, have you. Trump is fighting California on their state policies as well as other cities but apparently you like far too many don't understand that we don't have one person running the country and there are state and local laws that currently abuse Federal Immigration Laws

I suggest you get out a little more and Stop being a tool for the left

 you want to throw "should" in there - heck, lots of things should be. If you want to talk about actual plausible policy changes to minimize damage, however, well, that's something else entirely, and the "let them all in and just don't have a border any more" plan isn't going to measure up well on that one.

But the meme that Democrats are for "let them all in and just don't have a border any more" is working well for the Republicans. That's why they keep repeating it. There may even be some independents who are starting to believe it.

So then why is it Republicans who want the Wall and don't support sanctuary cities? Seems a disconnect between your opinion again and reality.

That is a good question. Usually, it is the Democrats who champion expensive government boondoggles, but the wall seems to be a Republican project. Why is that, I wonder? Maybe it's because the Democrat who claims to be a Republican and who has managed to get himself elected to the presidency is for it.

One thousand is more market friendly for a fee, with a fine being more expensive.

One thousand times how many foreign nationals in the US?

The fee could cover basic health services and could include some form of unemployment compensation for foreign labor should they want to work.

Immigration should Only be, applying for citizenship and getting in line with everyone else.

I know this is hard for you to understand but Reagan was a Democrat before becoming a Republican and the results generated by Trump are Reagan like and should be celebrated. You focus on the D or the R and I focus on actual results.

I voted for Trump because of the change I expected and am getting. You don't like a President who speaks his mind and isn't going to be used as a battering ram by the left like was used to Destroy Romney and GW Bush, and ever McCain. Seems there are a lot of things you don't understand or refuse to acknowledge including problems in your own state

California recently legalized pot and is starting to generate revenue from it.

Ronald Reagan was the Republican governor of the State of California before becoming president. That little fact may have escaped you. In contrast, Trump had no political experience at all before running for president, and had been a Democrat and supporter of Clinton before he decided that it would be easier to fool the Republicans. He was right about that, but not about much else.

Results:
We will build a wall, and Mexico will pay for it.
We will repeal and replace the ACA with something better that covers everyone.
Kim Jung Un will de nuclearize North Korea.

The only positive results have been the economy, and that is due to being able to ride the wave of prosperity started by his predecessor. When his trade war policies and that trillion dollar deficit begin to kick in, that, too will evaporate and the Trumpsters will have noting to brag about at all.

From United Press International

Study: U.S. CEOs earn 312 times more than average workers do

Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Chief executive officers at the United States' 350 largest companies earned substantially more last year than did average employees, an economic analysis showed Friday.

CEOs have always made more than typical workers, but the study showed the gap is increasing.

The non-governmental Economic Policy Institute said the average CEO salary was $18.9 million in 2017, an 18 percent increase over 2016. In that span, employees' wages rose just 0.3 percent.

The payout for executives included salary, bonuses, restricted stock grants, long-term incentive payouts and stock options.

COMMENT:-

To put that in perspective, based on the number of "working days" in a year, those CEOs earn as much in one day as the average worker earns in 8.371 years.

PS - Did you get your 18% raise last year?

Counting other peoples' money is considered rude behavior. Did these people steal it from you or something?

Yes he was but before being Governor he was a Democrat and head of the screen actors guild.

Trump definitely has zero political experience and is pissing off the establishment on both sides which is exactly what I hoped for along with the results generated. I voted for change and that is what I am getting and that is what the country is getting in terms of economic performance and job creation

Never took a civics class have you? Paid any attention to the Trump budget?? Of course not you are too busy buying the leftwing rhetoric and ignoring that this is the FIRST TRUMP BUDGET and there is a reduction in foreign aid and a 1.6 Billion dollar payment on the wall. Suggest you do better research and stop buying what you are told.

Every day I thank Obama and apparently according to the left Russia for giving us Trump. Anyone that thinks Obama led us to prosperity is too stupid to even debate. The Obama results made Jimmy Carter look good. Stunning lack of education and ignorance by people who cannot admit even when proven wrong.

All these negative PROJECTIONS continue and yet total ignorance of the data. We are at the end of fiscal year 2018 and there will be no trillion dollar deficits. We have a new NAFTA agreement with Mexico that benefits America, we have a President who submitted a budget with baseline budget cuts none of which resonate with you or anyone else. Always gave you way too much credit. Educate yourself by actually doing research

Trump "pissing off the establishment" just could turn out to be a good thing, particularly if there are enough independents to break the hegemony of the two parties. Rampant partisanship is the reason why Congress has become dysfunctional, and Trump has done his best to sink at least one of those parties.

Speaking of dysfunctional, Congress still hasn't passed a budget for 2018, but they keep spending money like they didn't pass Trump's popular but ill advised tax cuts. The result of those cuts without corresponding cuts in spending is likely to be that projected trillion dollar deficit.

When Mexico sends us 1.6 billion for the wall, I'll admit Trump actually accomplished something. Meanwhile, what he's accomplished is starting a trade war that is likely to cause a recession for his successor to deal with. Of course, if that successor is a Democrat, the partisan Republicans will blame him/her for it the moment he oath of office is administered, just as they were blaming Obama for the housing crash recession before he even took office.

Maybe the next person in the WH will be an independent. If that happens, then Trump does deserve some of the credit for having brought down at least one of the two major parties.

I cannot "leave out" stuff that wasn't there in the first place.

OK, that's your "assertion of fact" - now let's see some data to back it up.

The funny thing about "national data" is that it does "lump" all of the people in the country together as a nation.

OK, that's your "assertion of fact" - now let's see your evidence.

OK, that's your "assertion of fact" - now let's see your data.

I will deliberately refrain from shouting "Whoopie DING!" at the top of my lungs.

So do a whole lot of centralists.

A single crocus does not a spring make.

That's admirable.

Now share the links to your data.

And, if that "Scandinavian professional counterpart" does not WANT to own an automobile and does not WANT to live in 750 ft[SUP]2[/SUP] per person, what would your point be?

average house size in US to Europe

The Prim Minister of Demark recently told Bernie Sanders "Stop calling Us Socialist, we are a free market capitalist nation". https://www.investors.com/politics/...-bernie-sanders-to-stop-calling-it-socialist/

But because they have extreme high taxes, the US providing almost all of their Military security, and the US giving them extreme favorable trade conditions (President Trump is currently correcting): they can provide a high volume of entitlements, which might give the impression of quality of life.

Denmark and every other Scandinavian country has a much higher suicide rate than the US. This makes it clear that they are not a happy people. Denmark vs United States Crime > Suicide rates Stats Compared. https://www.quora.com/Why-do-Scandinavian-countries-have-high-suicide-rates

What my "Scandinavian Professional Counterpart" WANTS is irrelevant. With cars costing as much as a house in some parts of the US and rent on a small apartment costing twice what my mortgage payment is, they don't have a choice of automobile ownership or housing size.

As and American I do have opportunity and choice, which makes my life better.

That's likely because most Americans don't know the difference between a political theory and an economic theory.

It is quite possible to have a free market capitalist economy in a country with a socialist political makeup.

But because they have extreme high taxes,

Against what?

... and the US giving them extreme favorable trade conditions (President Trump is currently correcting):

You do realize that the US doesn't export all that much to Denmark because the US doesn't have all that much that the Danes want to import and can't get cheaper elsewhere, don't you.

they can provide a high volume of entitlements,

True, and if that's the way that the Danes want to do it, why shouldn't they be allowed to do it their way?

which might give the impression of quality of life.

You do realize that "quality" is one of those things that is ALWAYS "subjective", don't you?

Strangely enough the Danes don't agree with you [Ranked: The 10 Happiest Countries In The World In 2018]

Quite right, what people want to buy has absolutely no impact on what they do buy.

Yeah, sure, right.

As and American I do have opportunity and choice, which makes my life better.

Quite right, only Americans have "opportunity and choice".

Yeah, right, sure.
