Georgia lawmaker says he would have no problem if Trump used n-word in the past

I have a feeling the people in my orbit don't feel like they need to record me to protect themselves from anything.
But if a tape of you throwing racict comments around does surface, we should hold you accountable, correct?

We've already established that the story is bull****, so now the topic is the bitter clingers who need to believe in a discredited story in order to feel good about themselves.

"All I did was call him a nigger and he got all bitchy!"

That's sucking on privilege as if it was life itself.

I see the problem, you assume because I use certain "banned" terms that I start the conflagration in which they are used. You are also assuming I am surprised that people get bitchy and butthurt when I decide not to remain polite. Your assumptions are incorrect. By the way your privilege angle has no basis in reality. Lets be honest here, its a pretty racist "theory".

When was the last time you said the 'n' word?

The context is kind of key.

I've said it on occasion, but at least as an adult, so in 35-40 years, never in a way to disparage a person or group of people. My uncle used the word all the time, and I've told others about his racism, and included what he called blacks, including a couple of his bosses that got him fired from any job with blacks in the workforce. I've told stories about how routinely my grandmother used the word, but never my dad that I heard in 48 years. And if you talk about the "n" word, you've used the "n" word....

Anyway, it's a bad assumption that everyone has used the term disparagingly to refer to a person or group of people.

Using slurs and pejoratives against minorities is reaching for privilege. When all else fails, declare "I'm white" or "I'm a man" and make sure everyone knows that counts.

You've gone beyond reaching for privilege when under stress, such as the occasional "bitch". You've adopted reaching for privilege as a means and end of discussion. Start with racial slurs and then move to gender slurs. Do you close out with some homophobia?

If it wasn't for reliance on privilege, your dialogue herein would be non-existent. It's basically, "if not for being white and male, I got nothing".

This is why I say you've sucked on privilege as if it was life itself.

Thank you for the honest reply. Now I will give you mine. Since leaving high school in '81, there has rarely been a time when I didnt have black friends and co-workers. I made the conscious decision early on not to use the word because I found it offensive and didnt want it to become part of my lexicon for fear of blurting it out at the wrong moment and losing a friend in the process. So I can say for certain that I havent used the word in at least 35 years. In truth, I dont recall having ever said the word but I am hardly confident enough to proclaim that I have never said it.

You've never said redneck, hick, white trash, hillbilly? Ever?

LOL, the only term remotely comparable there is "white trash" and even that doesn't carry NEAR the same baggage as the n word.

There are businesses near me in the mountains called "Hillbilly...." And there's a pretty famous comedian who has a routine "You might be a redneck if...."

Oh, thank God you are here. We were just discussing dishonest liberals and ad hom posts and you showed up. Your timing is impeccable.

Always happy to arrive and save the day by pointing out your rabid hypocrisy and watching you run from it.

You're quite welcome!

It is not the n-word I have a problem with. It is his actions to minority groups I worry about. Martin Luther King Jr used the n-word to define his religious movement during the 1960's. Trump became a teenager during the 1950's, and both white and black accepted that name without being a negative on the African American community. In fact, King never used the term African American.

I live in the South, and have for 55 years. The "redneck" isn't the problem with that phrase - it's the "stupid" part.

"you know these redneck types who cling to their bibles and guns"...……

This was said right after he sold 2,000 AR-15s to gangs in Mexico AND armed ISIS...…...sick psychopath

"I assure that Obama will use the SPY COMPLEX to spy on political opponents. He will turn America in to 1970s East Germany"

-----Edward Snowden......appears he is a prophet

Thanks for admitting he never actually said that and eating your words again.

Right. It's all about context. The post responded claimed to have never used racially offensive language, "ever". We all know that can't be true. Don't we?
