The United States was selling weapons to the Saudis a long time before President Trump was elected. Obama could have so them that bomb, for all you know.

The US is a global arms dealer so this is bound to happen. This has been the case across many administrations and will continue since it is a massive and powerful industry for the US. Are you suggesting the US get out of the weapons business?

I am not even slightly surprised.

It was already known that we were selling Saudi Arabia weapons and helping them with intel in this conflict.


And before anyone goes blaming Trump solely for this, Obama was doing the same, although more limited, I grant.

There were some restrictions Obama put in place (although personally I think that was a ****ty half-assed move to make it look better without fixing a damn thing) which Trump removed.

But this isn't either president, it's the ever-present push from weapons manufacturers trying to make more money which led to this, via their undue influence on our government's decisions.

Uhhh, I linked to a post from 2016 showing I was critical of President Obamas decision to sell billions of dollars in arms to the Saudis and there is no post from me here where I have stated it's President Trumps fault "all of a sudden".

You really need to stop making things up, admit you were wrong and didn't read the posts correctly to begin with and move on. That would be the honest thing to do apdst.
