St. Louis DA victory latest for Black Lives Matter movement

When LaShell Eikerenkoetter cast her vote for Wesley Bell in the St. Louis County Democratic primary on Tuesday, she took the spirit of Michael Brown with her to the ballot box.

She had a sole purpose on Election Day: Get rid of Bob McCulloch , the veteran prosecutor who did not get an indictmentagainst the white former Ferguson, Missouri, police officer who fatally shot the unarmed, black 18-year-old four years ago this week.

“To show that four years later, when this man — who could’ve given us justice decided not to and did everything in his power to do the opposite — that we hadn’t forgotten about him and that Mike Brown was still in our hearts. ... Getting him out was for the family, for all the people that have fought, and for everybody that we have lost,” the 28-year-old Eikerenkoetter, who is black, said Thursday after attending a protest marking the anniversary of Brown’s Aug. 9, 2014, death. “It was about so much more than getting Bob McCulloch out. It was about what he represented.”

Looks like there is finally a little justice for Michael Brown, who was murdered by a Ferguson police officer. Won't bring him back, but the DA who let the cop slide is no longer going to be a DA. He has been primaried out.

The DA didn't let the cops slide. The cop was charged; he had his day in court; the grand jury established that the evidence wasn't substantial.

All the community seems to be doing is declaring how unscientific and illogically they are. They evidence wasn't on their side, so blame the person who's duty is to see justice served.
 
So the Obama Justice Department overseen by Eric Holder found that contrary to the lies promoted by Black Lives Matter, Mike Brown attacked the cop while seated in his vehicle and was clearly the aggressor, and determined that every comment promoted by the Black Lives Matter group including the "hands up dont shoot" thing was all bull****...

and the OP still clings to the notion Mike Brown was a poor widdle victim. :roll:

It was a mind-boggling debacle rooted in ignorance.

I certainly am conscious of the frightening level of cops shooting without due cause *these days however this was not one of those cases.

There are very good reasons, including those scientifically researched (Tueller drill) that cops have suspects get down on the ground.


*Not sure there's a rise in instances, it could just be more exposure thru media, video, etc.

We’ll see how willing the police will be to operate in Ferguson under threat of prosecution if they don’t allow themselves to be murdered by criminal suspects.

The truth, the facts, the evidence, and the Grand Jury, said different. Saying something over and over doesn't make it any less wrong. Electing people that don't believe the truth to a position that depends completely on facts and the truth to be executed properly, is extremely dangerous.

If that's a victory, then truth, honor, and justice... just lost.

No one blamed Obama, or his administration -- they merely pointed out that the DOJ confirmed the findings of the local officials.
