A federal judge has found a witness in contempt for refusing to testify before the grand jury hearing evidence in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

U.S. District Chief Judge Beryl Howell made the ruling Friday after a sealed hearing to discuss Andrew Miller’s refusal to appear before the grand jury. Miller is a former aide to longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone.

'Miller had fought and lost a court battle earlier this month to quash a subpoena, after a judge issued a 93-page opinion saying Miller must testify before the grand jury.'

Miller is a close associate of Trump adviser Roger Stone. Stone & his associates have been implicated by Mueller's probe. His lack of willingness to testify speaks volumes.

In a closed hearing Friday in a Washington, DC, district court, Judge Beryl Howell found Miller in contempt and then stayed that ruling until this Monday to allow for an appeal to be filed.

you seem to only read headlines and what you want to read.

He still refused to testify. Maybe he's guilty of something of interest to Mueller.

Then he could plead the fifth. He doesn't want to testify against Stone.

And that appeal if any will be denied. He can refuse to answer question in front of the GJ, invoke his 5A, and Mueller can offer "Use immunity" and he is required to testify.

Technically he can plead the 5th the entire time it is a constitutional protection.
