Trump calls on Sessions to end Russia probe ‘right now’

Already told what I think. That you need to stay on topic and cut it out with your usual deflective BS arguments.

Trump is head of the executive dept and thus authority for all justice department actions flow through him.
As such, he is perfectly entitled to express his opinion as to the activities of his subordinates.

Just like Obama was entitled to do, when he was president.

Did you likewise call for impeachment when Obama obstructed in the Fast and Furious gunwalking scandal that targeted his Administration?

Oh, for Christ's sake. Just knock it off.

Now it is time for Congress to act and protect Mueller and his team. Folks, write and or email your DC Representatives. I have contacted Senator Warren, and insisted she support such an action.

For a guy so innocent...trump acts guilty.....Because he is.....America needs to remove this asshole

It is specifically because he is the head of the executive dept that his opinion is not an opinion. It's a threat. Since he can force Sessions or Mueller to do what he wants he can follow through on his actions.

Just like Obama was entitled to do, when he was president.

And if Obama would have fired Comey or told his DoJ to end the investigation into Bengazhi or Hillary's emails he would have been guilty and impeached as well. As a lawyer himself he was smart enough to know better.

Triggered!

Yes, pulling out the BUTWHATABOUTOBAMA card with every f'ing thread on Trump is a sure sign of someone triggered. It's sad, really.

This is the textbook definition of Obstruction of Justice. He just publically called for an end to an investigation into his own campaign before it was completed and attacked the credibility of the investigators.

A further definition which can be found in my auto signature...

If this isn't Obstruction of Justice then nothing is. He should be impeached immediately, but the cowards in the Republican party won't do it.

IMPEACH THE SOB and let's return to the socialistic policies of Obama and today's radical Democratic Party. Calling for an action only is a violation of the law when it is done by a Republican as words seem to matter more to the left than actions. Now if Trump ended the investigation that would be a different story.

You leftists are truly radicals claiming to care about this country but in truth promoting a radical socialist, open border, free healthcare for all giving that power to federal bureaucrats for there never are any consequences for failure in the leftwing utopian world

He has the authority to fire Mueller or Sessions because, as president, all executive power flows through him.

Which means he is also allowed to weigh in with his opinion.

Not when the investigation itself is pertaining to his own administration.

Apparently in the liberal world words and action mean the same thing ie actually firing Comey vs talking about it means the same thing? Really?

None of these are crimes. They are differences of opinions.

EDIT: Twice.

Words are a threat when they come from those in power over you. As you can see from my auto signature threatening court officials is a crime.

actually firing Comey vs talking about it means the same thing?
They don't need to be the same thing. Trump has done both of those things, and both of those things meet the bar for Obstruction of Justice.

The President is feeling the heat with Manafort.

Keep the fire going.

It was investigated and found out to be a dead end. The process was left to work and it worked. Move on.

Realize that a whataboutism's is weak argument levied because you cannot defend the main point: "Trump should be impeached". I sure the poster appreciates the fact that you could not challenge his assertion and are left only with a "what about Obama" defense.

"Well, officer, I was only driving the speed of traffic".... usually gets you a ticket

When a person in a position of authority talks about taking an action and said action takes place then yes, said person is responsible for that. Like telling the Russians to illegally access information then setting up a meeting with a Russian asset in your home to provide said stolen information to your son. This “witch hunt” will end. After we burn the witch.

The only people you need to contact are Senate and House Republicans.

More what about what about Obama...You got nothing to defend this asshole trump

And Trump is allowed to end the investigation. How is it against the law for the president to exercise his lawful authority?
And the other little problem in the obstruction theory.... the investigation continues.

None of these are crimes. They are differences of opinions.

They would be actions and not words if something was indeed done. that is the issue here, this is what Trump would like to see and his rhetoric isn't a crime

No, sorry words hurt no one, actions do. Your opinion noted but then so is your hatred for Trump

Yes and when said action takes place then it would be something to address, right now it is a statement, words, and opinion. telling someone to do something is one thing, forcing them to do it is another. People have a choice when told to do something, If they acted and it was a violation of the law then the words meant something and the action could result in prosecution. That isn't the case here
