Exclusive: CNN obtains secret Trump-Cohen tape

I'm not getting into the pay-with-cash/don't-pay-with-cash debate since it's largely a red herring. The point is that they were discussing whether he should pay the woman he cheated on his wife with using cash at all and that Cohen was setting up a dummy corporation to do so. We know she was paid off, that trump knew about it, and that it was done as an illegal campaign finance contribution. Everything about this is dirty enough without the pay-with-cash/don't-pay-with-cash aspect.

That will make give liberals ammunition against him, trump and Cohen may be penalized for it since they clearly broke the law, Independent voters will look upon Trump with additional disdain, and Republicans will make sure that they respond to polls with ever-greater support for trump as a "screw you" to the rest of the country.

And so it goes.
 
If Mueller's team is the only ones who had the tapes, how did it get into the hands of CNN?

Based on the results of all of the "scandals", which is an improvement in his ratings, its becoming clear that more and more people don't give a damn every day. Or, like I believe, people are getting annoyed and numb to the bitching.

Donald Trump's approval ratings with Republicans is at 85% and this week according to Gallup his presidential approval ratings is 42%.

Speaking of party. If your party had a decent candidate, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Maybe you should call the Democrats "ethics" into question. No doubt you voted for her in the primaries...

I listened to the tape. Unlike others, Giuliani wasn't able to get me to hear "don't" because it just wasn't there.

In any case, whether it was cash, check, or Staples gift cards, it doesn't change the fact that it was a payoff, that may be illegal. So, we don't need to get distracted with the payment type. Crimes include election law violations (felony), mail and wire fraud, etc.

And yet it would make no sense for Cohen to reference financing, and trump to sway "what financing, finance it".
He said "what financing...just pay with cash".

And the inflection on "pay with cash" was clearly NOT a "dont use cash" inflection. Anyone can hear it.
Just another of the lies you guys are willing to accept and propogate. Doesn't matter in the end, either this will be legal and carry consequences, or it will be political, and we already know you prefer Trump over truth/country.

You missed the point. Allow me to repeat it. Criminal or not (and how could he not be?), 45 is the biggest liar that I have ever seen operate in public life in my entire life. He is not fit to be the president and has caused the US to descend into some psychotic alternate reality where nothing is true, nothing is false, and nothing matters. Most importantly, he is a despicable role model for the young people (well, all people really) of the country and the world. He's not a role model at all. In fact, he's a case study in how to be the most awful person one can be. When I was very young, I wanted to be president. Most of my friends did. Our backup plans were firefighters and astronauts and doctors. We don't even let my young nephews see 45 on TV for fear that he will have even the slightest influence on them or open his foul mouth and get them in trouble at school for repeating something that comes out of it. He is a devastation for a generation of children, for the American political system, and for the global world order.
