Congressional Republicans are urging the White House to get ahead of the Kremlin by defining what was and wasn’t agreed to. What was said between the two leaders, they admit, remains a disconcerting mystery.

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) says he has “no idea” what Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov meant when he said Wednesday that Trump and Putin had entered into “important verbal agreements.”

Corker expressed concern about talk that the White House and Kremlin are “setting up a second meeting so they can begin implementation” of these mystery agreements.

Clear that not only does Putin run Trump at the Helsinki fiasco, we are left to learn about so called agreements from the Kremlin.
NATO?
Baltic's?
Ukraine?
Crimea?
Syria?
Dare I say massive intervention is US Elections?
That is all kinds of messed up.
Should Sarah move her Office?
Now I wait for the Trump Spinners.

It's coming from Corker, so that will be the first issue.

Oh there are others
http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/397339-gop-lambasts-trump-over-performance-in-helsinki
Other GOP lawmakers — even some of Trump’s staunchest allies on Capitol Hill, like Sens. Thom Tillis (N.C.) and Orrin Hatch (Utah) — were critical of the outcome of the Helsinki summit, where Putin denied that Russia meddled in the U.S. election.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) pushed back on Trump giving credence to those denials.

Burr said his panel “found no reason to doubt” U.S. intelligence findings that “Putin ordered an influence campaign aimed at the 2016 U.S. elections with the goal of undermining faith in our democratic process.”

I think it's a fair question to ask.

well, even as pathetic as it is having TrumPutin for POTUS we can still take solace in the fact that Putin owns Trump like a little girl, and conversely TrumPutin owns the GOP like the little bitches they are.

keep on screamin' you little girls; TrumPutin owns all of your little GOP asses ................ haha .....................

Nothing coming out of the WH on this. So it is either all good, or really fffd.

As feared, Trumpov had no problem trying to hand Russian occupied portions of eastern Ukraine over to Putin.

Trump caught hell for this from his WH staff and members of Congress after returning home and is now trying to distance himself from this back-stab of an ally.

That's the problem with Trump meeting secretly with Putin. The Great Negotiator is exceedingly outclassed by Putin and extremely easy to manipulate.

Trump also doesn't tell the American people what was said behind closed doors. What is he hiding? Who else got sold out?

Ukraine is the first casualty of Trump’s carelessness. It won’t be the last

Trump sold out Ukraine for a photo op and a football

This is the correct place for this to come from - the Senate. Constitutionally they have the power to not allow any international agreement to proceed with anything less than a 2/3rds majority vote to approve it.

Trump better let the Senate know what the hell he said, and quickly.

Corker is a bloviating, self-serving, anti-Trumper. From your article, "So far, Flake is the only Senate Republican to back Schumer’s call for the White House to turn over notes from the summit."
I have no interest in what he thinks or what spin he contrives. He lost his street cred long ago up on capitol hill with the GOP who are supportive of this president.

Ukraine is probably the worst casualty, so far, of Trump's (and Obama's) missteps internationally. The Ukrainian people had a guarantee from the US that if they gave up they're nukes that the US would protect them. That didn't happen. Now it looks like the minimal sanctions we put on Russia for those actions are going to be erased by Trump as well.

It's damned shameful how this country has turned its back on Ukraine for the last 4 years.

Fascinating thing is our government and our Intelligence agencies may have to get what was said at that meeting from the RUSSIANS because they ain't getting any info from Trump.

Can you imagine if a Dem Preez did this? A secret meeting with 1 of our biggest adversaries, a PoS liar and murderer like Putin. And our government and Intelligence is being kept in the dark by the POTUS so it has to get it's info from the Russians? My God!!

The President is keeping an agreement made in the people's behalf secret from the people. And the longer that he does keep all Americans in the dark about a deal made with Putin, the warmer and easier the word impeachment comes off the lips of the voters..

Is there any proof he made any deal with Putin? If so what was it?

The President is the one designated by the Constitution to conduct foreign policy. As necessary the Senate is called on to approve treaties. IMHO, Trump is within his rights to tell Congress to F.O. WHEN he has treaties/agreements that need to be approved or needs money to be appropriated then he should go to Congress.

Well both Trump and Putin think that they made a deal. As far as what that is only Trump and Russia seems to know what exactly it is that our President agreed too for us. I for one find this unacceptable and a breach of his contract with the people of the United States of America. When it comes to deals with Russia we need to know wtf is going on.

The clock is ticking.....each hour that goes by is a attack on the US by Trump. Its time to put country ahead of party.

I find it comical to see some of the same folks here that were pissing on the JCPOA are now all for TrumPutin's 'verbal' agreement in Helsenki with his handler Putin ............

........... you folks are a ****ing hoot ...........

What WAS this deal? What evidence do you have?

Great, when are you planning on doing it?

And how exactly does JCPOA coincide with whatever "verbal agreement Trump and Putin made?

Congress turned on Nixon, don't think if it comes between Congressional Republicans pass, and turning on Trump, they won't turn on Trump.

And how exactly does JCPOA coincide with whatever "verbal agreement Trump and Putin made?

the folks here that were pissing on the JCPOA were bitching about it because they said it was not ratified by the Senate

they don't seem to be against TrumPutin's Helsenki 'verbal' agreement ...........

I guess they like to 'pick & choose' anything, like the way they do with scripture, and everything else in the world; haha ............

I love the way you pretend Trump is a real President

This was one of the secret Trump/Putin deals.

Trumps White House staff/advisors sensed the growing push-back and today (6 days later) told Putin no.
