Serious question people? How many of you seriously wish to see physical harm come to the President? I'd bet more than a few in here...This latest message from the media to the general public seems to be pushing this....
 
Great cover that perfectly depicts the events of the last week. Trump did fall flat on his face. No doubt about it.

I don't wish for it. I would like to see him die cold, broke and alone in the dark in a gutter.

kinda hard to take serious when it comes from a false and non-serious premise that is not pushing what you claim.

1.) the cover has nothing to do with wanting physical harm to come of him lol its about a very large group of people left right and center feeling he fell right on his face with this putin thing.

2.) define physical harm? Him stubbing his toe during or right after one of his meltdowns would be hilarious to me but i would find that funny with ANYBODY having the types of meltdowns he does and I dont "wish" it on him. i certainly dont wish anything bad to happen to him like his death or anything... the nutter Pence is right behind him and he might actually be able to accomplish stuff lol

Did you feel as bad when trump told supporters to “rough up” protestors and he’ll pay for the legal defense? Heal thyself hypocrite.

I am not "triggered" but I am curious....We see it in a more ambiguous way with post #3, and #4 in this very thread....

Adonis calls it a fantasy, and What if displays a genuine desire for Trump to lose everything he has and die lonely and broke....That's pretty rough if we are being honest....I mean, the man won the Presidency, that's all....

The level of discourse even in here has devolved into nothing more than who can say the most outrageous thing and get away with it....We see it every day...It is exhausting....And the media IMHO, doesn't help when they depict the President in such a demeaning way, and a way that the snobs at the New Yorker would NEVER have done to democrat Presidents....

IDK, I am not saying that they aren't entitled to their ideological opinion, but it is getting exhausting at this point....

Or when your hero Obama tells supporters to get in the faces of family members that disagree with them politically at Thanksgiving dinner....Don't tell me about hypocrites until you find a mirror.

Your beliefs about a cartoon whose metaphor you've only recently had trouble understanding aren't much of a deeper argument. It seems most posters are catching up to that. I now know that your selective capacity to understand metaphors depending on the weather exists.

I'd be ashamed of having been caught misrepresenting such a harmless metaphor. You know, like you did with rats jumping out of a ship; except when you were using it, then you perfectly understood it. A situation which once again has happened in this thread.

My interpretation is that it has nothing to do with harm and all to do with failure and humiliation. "Falling flat on your face" is not an expression about harm.

Which if he didnt feel from Helsinki, most of the country did.

So how exactly do you depict the "falling flat on your face" metaphor without showing someone falling flat on their face? I don't wish Trump any physical harm, but I am surprised the metaphor and its visual representation would be taken literally.
