NYT:Russia Is No Longer Targeting the U.S., Trump Says, Contradicting His Own Intelligence Director

WASHINGTON — President Trump said on Wednesday that Russia was no longer targeting the United States, contradicting his own intelligence chief and just a day after promising that his administration was working to prevent Kremlin interference in the upcoming midterm elections.

Mr. Trump’s comments were the latest in a dizzying collection of conflicting statements from Mr. Trump since he emerged from a private meeting with President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia on Monday in Helsinki, Finland. And they directly contradict assertions from Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, who has repeatedly said that Russia continues to try to interfere with American democracy.

Just when we thought the matter was getting clearer, it isn't.

So, unless "No Longer" really means "Longer," Swampy is back to backing Putin's story again.

Well that's a relief.

Can we all just agree that this guy is mentally imbalanced -- and not the stable genius he thinks he is?

A) Who cares if Putin is happy?
B) He thinks he's tough on Russia? He's itching to drop the sanctions and if Putin asked him to shine his shoes, he would do it.

Idk I feel we are never again going to have a free and fair election. While the whole country is focusing on Trump if anyone thinks other countries aren't ramping up efforts to **** with us.
I mean come on litty itty bitty economy Russia (we have states in the US that have bigger economies) can **** with us and divide us and make us hate each other this bad...wtf could china, EU, even Germany to do to us.
Will democrats fight this vigoursly for their corrupted wins?

I wish everyone will stop using these ****ing soft words meddling and collusion....its attack and conspiracy against the United States of America....oh yeah that's right were not so United anymore.
I hope I'm around long enough to see some patriots stand up and stop this and some everyday citizens actually talk to and not at each other....but I fear that will not happen.
