Trump sees no reason to believe Russia behind election meddling [W:1173]

Are we supposed to believe that Trump meant to say "wouldn't"?! That's hilarious! Did I say Obama was born in Kenya? No, I'm pretty sure I said he wasn't born in Kenya.

I seriously think we're seeing the onset of dementia. I don't say that lightly. It's very serious to have a President who is deteriorating like Trump. He'd be so easy to manipulate at this point and you simply can't trust him. But you watch him and he's very confused, tangential, and perseverating on the issue of personal collusion with Russia. I've worked with the elderly before and if he were impoverished, I don't know that he could live independently. To have a President like that - terrifying. To have a President like that in a room with Putin for a few hours - a disaster for the nation. The RNC should not let him run again.

He’s only backpedaling now because he got a **** ton of backlash from all sane people around the world and had to shut up his critics. We all know how the real trump feels, and that was put on full display yesterday. Cue the trump cultists who actually buy this bag of nonsense. Utterly insane and comical. Your 5 cent diagnosis aside, Trump just had a mental health evaluation and was deemed sharp and with a full mental capacity.

I don't think it is dementia. I think that he took so much flack from both sides and the rest of the world that he had to come up with some lame excuse to reverse course and claim he meant the exact opposite of what he said earlier.

It's possible, but put what his new statement was. "I believe our institutions, I see no reason to believe it wasn't Russia, it could have been a lot of people." That makes absolutely no sense. Why would you say "it could have been a lot of people" if you're saying "it's Russia"?

I was just reading about it. If Trump did have dementia or couldn't pass the test, how much do you think he'd pay the doctor to help him out? Conspiracy theory, but you know...

If he did pass it, I'm glad he can draw a clock, but my father is showing signs of dementia and also scored a perfect 30 on the test. So I'm not really feeling that great about his ability to remember 3 words. But more to the point of the thread, he didn't mean to say "wouldn't." He's lying.
