Trump sees no reason to believe Russia behind election meddling [W:1173]

So do you think the FBI is investigating every state's elections to see if Russians influenced the results? Cuz that would be pretty silly if you did.

No, but I'm saying the FBI has jurisdiction that permits them to look at any election in which they suspect Russian interference.

Indictments prove nothing at all. They are merely statements from a bureaucrats in charge of a handful of oblivious and gullible citizens sitting on a Grand Jury.

And your reply proves that posters defending 45 are just a handful of oblivious and gullible citizens willing to cede power to Russia and forsake our American ideals and our Allies.

What's amazing is that when he was doing these kind of things and America under the former leadership gave a tepid response from pretty much start to finish, there were individuals on the right that were (correctly imho) criticizing him for his piss poor light response to the manner and wanting something sterner. Yet now you have someone actually acting even WORSE than Tepid, actually friendly, to these kind of things and its crickets or "we don't want to start a war".

For all the mockery and attacking that he had, Romney was right with labeling Russia as our top geopolitical foe, and it'd be nice if we could finally have a President in there that takes that threat seriously and deals with it in a serious fashion, but sadly we're waiting another 2 years at least for that to POSSIBLY change.

Yes History will look back on that Obama retort to Romney with less than kind eyes.

Gee. All Trump has to do is refuse to defend America and undermine the US intelligence services in public in order to cosy up to one of America's enemies, and all the liberal snowflakes get upset. I hope Trump betrays his country even more; liberal heads might explode.

Traitor Trump has not implemented all the sanctions mandated by a law and seems intent on delaying to avoid doing so.

He's giving Syria to Russia.

He is weakening NATO, which stands up to Russian aggression in Europe.

Almost all the sanctions that have been imposed plus the current build up of troops in Poland were commitments made by Obama in February 2016....according to your WaPo link.

So what exactly is the US getting from Russia in return for Traitor Trump's Putin appeasement policy?

He implemented more sanctions than Obama. He's expanding NATO. But, when you say "never Trump" you mean that no matter what he does, you'll whine about it.

Now if only you and All The King's Men could prove that. If only the claim that the DNC material was hacked could be proved, what a wonderful world we would live in.

If only we had the names of the hackers... and the methods they used.... and when they did it... and how they paid for it... and their Internet search history...

You are so desperate. I didn't vote for Trump. I consider him an embarrassment all the way 'round.

I'm not judging this event by him or his weird personality, I am judging it by the facts we know. It wasn't a hack, it was a leak. Seth Rich was killed for a purpose, and it wasn't robbery.

It's all about that special bond though, right?

Trump is a salesman, and he sold himself and the nation out to Putin. I guess that fits...

Without a hack there would be no leaks. Any post about Seth Rich belongs in another forum on this site.

FLETCH!!!!

Wow. The obnoxious desperation to define what just happened in ways that will preserve your personal praise for the man just went to another level. Even if his latest behavior had something to do with what you just tried to put into his head for him, what the President of the United States doesn't do is bend the United States of America over in order to placate to ideologically opposed dictators. It's all about that special bond though, right?

Fletch, tell me you haven't started sacrificing goats yet...

If you have an intelligent objection to what I wrote, now is the time to post it.

If only we could prove the material was hacked. If only the facts supported that claim instead of contradicting that claim.

The la la la I can't hear you hands over my ears crowd will probably never accept it, though even they know it's true. However, their acceptance is not necessary.

During WWII many people in France thought that surrendering their sovereignty to Germany was a great idea. Sad to see that people like you still have not learned from France's mistake.

More nonsense. How have we surrendered our sovereignty?

Here is the obvious truth: No matter what dumb things Trump may say, you guys outdo him in idiocy ever single time.

Without a hack there would be no leaks? That is an ignorant statement. Consider Snowden or Manning or many others. Those were leaks, not hacks.

I understand how desperate it can make a person when he chooses to admire the new clothes of an Emperor who is butt nekkid, but really.....

It was a hack, and it has been detailed beyond any reasonable doubt, by 7+ security experts, the FBI, and now the rest of the intelligence community, as well as detailed fully down to who paid for what with bitcoin, in the Mueller investigation.

CT theory, stop.

I so pity you. You're going to have to tell your kids and grandkids that you had the chance to be on the right side of history and you blew it. You join the sorry ranks of Neville Chamberlain and whoever the cowardly leader of France was during the 30's.

Oh look, another KGB lover who doesn't believe US intel.

US intel hasn't proven, or even said with certainty that the Russians did anything. Then, you have to look at the former intel chiefs who are pushing the belief: Clapper, who lied to Congress. Brennon, who is a communist. Comey, who rigged a major criminal investigation. All of whom did nothing while this supposed interferance was actually taking place.

This is mouth breathing over Clinton losing (she was supposed to win). If Clinton had won, Russiagate wouldn't even be a topic of discussion.

The existence of well identified hackers does not preclude the possibility of an insider taking a zip/flash drive of DNC data directly to WikiLeaks. I find it extremely odd that direct examination of the DNC server was not deemed necessary or that it took 2 years to get the data required for an indictment.

Prove it and it will be accepted.

That's just stupid.

Or that Clinton destroyed subpoenaed evidence and no one in the DOJ had a problem with it.
