Mitch McConnell chased from KY restaurant by protesters

Trump's behaviour has everything to do with it.

The protesters are against Trump policies. They can't get to Trump, so they go after his enablers ands co-activists.

Trumps behavior has nothing to do with how others choose to behave, as Fish is trying to imply. His actions may be the motivation for their action, but his ahole behavior does not justify theirs.

That's fair, and I respect and agree with this.

I'm not necessarily condoning all that's going on, nor would I say I would personally perform many of the actions I see. But if the actions are lawful activities, I'll respect their right to do it. Similar in the way I respect speech using the 1st A, even when I don't agree with the speech itself.

Well in this case, they are not lawful. Harassment, disturbing the peace, blocking traffic, trespassing on and refusing to leave private property are against state and local laws. Politicians are likely to just tolerate it because fighting back will look bad. But Im not going to defend or justify the behavior or the action like those here who do just because it being done against the other side. This is partisanship at its worst.

Well, my feeling is: public protest is fine. Our country was built upon it. But if unlawful, face the consequences.

"The sword strikes both ways", is my thought on this.

Sure, I agree, so long as its peaceful protest.
