I keep hearing conservatives tell others that they are part of the problem. At what point does the GOP take ANY responsibility for their policies? Must the left stand by like tourists as their country descends into fascism? Quit demanding that people tolerate the intolerable, just because it tickles your pickle to see brown babies stolen at the border or the safety net pulled out from under the elderly and disabled.

No, you guys don't get to attack the livelihoods of the poor and desperate, give huge gifts to billionaires and then act surprised when the pitchforks and torches come down the street. You are not victims, you're getting payback. Deal with YOUR own reality for a change and the rest of the world might start making sense.

We aren't descending into fascism, that is my point. Your histrionics are a huge part of the problem. That grown man at the Wataburger could have walked past the kid and realized that he just has a difference of opinion, but his own idiotic belief in this "descent in to fascism" lead to him assaulting the kid. That isn't OK, and it isn't the GOP's fault, or the kids.

Things just keep getting worse and worse whenever a republican gets elected. Left had small freak outs when Reagan and Bush Sr won. Then larger freakouts when Bush Jr won.. now full out meltdown with Trump. Just imagine what will happen the next time a republican wins.

Well, maybe they're more aware than they seem. It's true, we aren't going to stand by and watch as the right starves children with one hand and rewards the rich with the other. It's such a moral abomination, what the right is doing. Somebody has to fight for the weak and the bought and paid for hypocrites on the right, who ironically claim to be followers of Jesus, clearly won't.

Quit acting so surprised that anyone is still willing to fight for this nation's soul. The right has awakened us with the glaring inhumanity of their actions on more than one front. Our initial shock at the arrogance and shamelessness of the treasonous Trump has worn off and his followers are due for a wake up call as well. Bullies and thieves get away with a lot but only while good people stand idle. The right has finally gone too far.
