Senate panel upholds finding that Russia backed Trump, contradicting House

Really not that hard, your exact words: "Nunes who has been caught lying several times thus proving he's a trump stooge"

Inference being that because he lied it proved he was a Trump stooge. As I said, if lying is the qualifier to prove being a Trump stooge, then I posit all politicians can be labeled Trump stooges on that basis. Too deep?

Yep, we certainly know that Hillary was better qualified and much more honest with an impeccable career in public service making millions and millions of dollars on the public dole. She certainly has no character issues at all, always tells the truth, and would give all the radicals what they want, massive govt. spending and less personal responsibility

Really, that's your "story"? sorry Sab, you just don't get to pretend not to know that Nunes lied for trump in regards to the investigation of trump. Now that we've cleared up your pretend confusion, lets again try this again. Nunes has proven himself to be a liar and a trump stooge hence nothing he says has any credibility. The senate version has no such baggage and is in line with what our intelligence agencies have already said.

I see you have a reading and comprehension problem. None of your rhetoric has any connection to my comment, so to continue any discourse would be folly, Ta-Ta.

So, nothing new - still confirming that the ICA "assessed" (i.e., drew a conclusion) that Russia attempted to interfere with the 2016 Presidential election (much as they have for the past several decades). If anyone cares, the recent Senate Committee's document can be read here: https://www.burr.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/SSCI ICA ASSESSMENT_FINALJULY3.pdf There is still no evidence that now President Trump or anyone in his campaign colluded with Russia. If I recall, the ICA also concluded that the Russian's also posted derogatory social media propaganda about then candidate Trump, but I didn't notice any reference about that in the above report (may have missed as I merely scanned though the document).

Oh Sab, you call it “folly” because I took away your “excuse” to not understand the significance of the senate report. Lets review.

  • You came to this thread to obediently downplay the significance of the senate report.
  • I explained the house report was put out by a lying Trump stooge
  • You pretended not to understand that Nunes was a liar and a trump stooge
  • I cleared up your pretend confusion
  • You are now cutting and running and hilariously blame me for you cutting and running.

Again, the house report has no credibility because Nunes has proven himself to be a liar and a trump stooge. The senate report has no such baggage and its report lines up with what our intelligence agencies already said. all I can say is I’m sure your conservative masters appreciate your obedience.

Oh, my, why don't we just impeach the SOB or better yet hang him since we certainly don't need an American First policy and promotion of the private sector creating jobs and economic growth.

2017 saw the slowest pace of job growth in the private sector since 2010.

Q1 2018 GDP was down 31% to 2.0% from 2.9% in Q4 2017.

80% of workers have seen net declines in their wages from May 2017-May 2018.

Insurance premiums will rise at their fastest pace in years this fall.

The DJIA is down for the year.

Companies are still outsourcing jobs, even after getting a tax cut.

The deficit is back to $1T, and I thought you all hated trillion-dollar deficits? Wasn't that why you stapled teabags to your faces 9 years ago?

Propaganda should always be prosecuted unless of course it is an October Surprise by radicals or any other issue the left wants to promote. Even though no votes were changed at the ballot box, Trump is guilty of winning the election and has to be removed from office because the left just hates him

So you moved the goalposts to "no votes changed at the ballot box". Of course, Russian propaganda was happening before a single vote was even cast, and all our intelligence agencies and the Senate Intel Committee all said Russia meddled to help Trump.

Then 7 GOP Senators & reps went to Russia over 4th of July weekend, and all came back solidly pro-Russia.

There is still no evidence that now President Trump or anyone in his campaign colluded with Russia

Then why did Flynn resign?

Yea, once he was made a lame duck by the GOP in 2010, the economy was allowed to recover on it's own. America: " thank you GOP for shutting down that second big " jobs bill ' that Obama wanted. "

So you complain about a weak recovery on one hand, but then laud the GOP obstruction for creating a strong recovery on the other?

Seems like you contradict your own arguments.

One last try to enlighten on what the post was and was not.

1. There was nothing in the post that was intended to and not did downplay the significance of the senate report or anything else, there was no mention of the senate report in my reply.

2. Not only did I understand that Nunes is a liar but, if you understood what you read you would have seen I painted all politicians as liars, last I checked Nunes is a politician.

You said Nunes was a liar and a Trump stooge.... I added that if lying is the qualifier to prove being a Trump stooge then all politicians are Trump stooges - why? - because all lie in some fashion or another.

Sabre, that's just false. As I clearly stated your obedient post was to downplay the significance of the senate report. Here, read your own words

Senate contradicts the House, who would have thought?

Oh no Sabre, I'm not saying you couldn't "misparaphrase" what I posted. I definitely could have been more clear. But you don't get to pretend to not know that Nunes has lied for trump to undermine the investigation into Trump. That's just basic information. My first post just assumes you knew that already. And Sabre, what proves you knew that already and were pretending not to understand is that once I cleared it up for you, you didn't pretend not to know exactly what I was talking about. And you just kept trying to deflect to the way I wrote it. And look, you're still deflecting to the way I wrote it because you cant address the facts. This is a debate forum, not a pre-teen conservative chat room.

Good grief man, "Senate contradicts the House, who would have thought?" has not got a damn thing to do any with downplay the significance of the senate report. It's an irony, as in the Senate and the House are almost always at odds with each other, i.e., it's no surprise.

You clearly do not understand any of this and your final put downs, because you don't understand, of "this not a pre-teen conservative chat room" coupled with the inane dig of "I’m sure your conservative masters appreciate your obedience" make me regret I ever even thought you were worth trying to explain my posts to. Fear not, I will not make the same mistake again.

You only embarrass yourself further by claiming you were not trying to downplay the significance of the Senate report. And see how effortlessly you post any made up rhetoric to cling to your narrative: "the Senate and the House are almost always at odds with each other". You continue to ignore that Nunes has proven he's a liar and trump stooge so the house report has zero credibility (see how I don't have to make anything up, I can simply post the facts).

The only good thing about your post is you seemed to have given up deflecting to the way I worded my first post.

The house committee didn't even try to interview many of the most important figures. To close up shop prematurely without gathering let alone considering most of the key evidence and then pretending to draw definitive final conclusions is obstruction of justice.

Let me correlate the potential thoughts

Think of the 2016 Election's like American Idol. You got your last 2 contestants right? You also then have "FAN"atics that would do anything for their favorite. The Contestant/Idol has NO idea who the actual fanatics are but knows they exist.

Russia is a Fanatic, They Dislike HRC. and Really like Trump..... So they do things for Trump without his consent and knowledge. But are just "Fanatics"

OR Russia has been trying for YEARS to infiltrate our Election systems...... Trump being a great catalyst for creating turmoil.

17 Agencies said that Russia attempts.... The American people know they attempted. NOTHING has been proven that Russia was able to affect the outcome

Lastly... MOST importantly currently there is NO indication that Trump & his associates colluded with Russians to sway the elections.

So Trump is DUMB and said Dumb Stuff, but the public gets it.... Russians tried to interfere in our elections. The Only difference if TRUMP & his associates COHERENTLY and ACTIVELY participated with them OR not. IN which currently there is NO evidence or indication.

Fanatic Russians doing their own thing for their own reason.......

*The House Intel Committee report said Russia was responsible for carrying out cyberattacks against the US, disseminating hacked emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee, and launching a social media disinformation campaign -findings that mostly echo parts of the US intelligence community's assessment of Russia's interference in the 2016 election. *

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.bu...-committee-report-russia-investigation-2018-4

Not much of a contradiction

And yet still came to the same Russia meddled conclusion. Who knew

Not much of a contradiction

You forgot the on behalf of Trump part.

You forgot the on behalf of Trump part.

And you forgot the part "specifically to hurt Hillary Clinton and help Trump"

But the main point of the two reports was not contradictory.
