You could substitute Jordan's name for Clinton and you'd be screaming "Lock him up!"
 
CNN- Jordan's Office states no contacts / letters/requests from the University investigation team. Investigative Team reports they had contact with Jordan.

Question is who? Lawyers in particular when performing an investigation do keep detailed records
Now someone is lying. Me I say miscommunication between Jordan and his Office who were out of the loop

jim jordan may well have been oblivious what was going on in his department

or he may need to seem to have been oblivious to what was going on

One of the wrestlers said he personally told Jordan about an incident in the Doctor's office shortly after it happened.

Porter Wright Morris & Arthur, the law firm appointed by GOP Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine as legal counsel for OSU, has hired Perkins Coie LLP to conduct an independent investigation into the Strauss case. Investigators had contacted Jordan’s office by both phone and email to set up an interview but did not get a reply from Jordan, according to Porter Wright partner Kathleen M. Trafford.

“To date, Rep. Jordan has not responded to those requests, but we understand from public statements issued on his behalf today that Rep. Jordan is willing to talk to the investigative team,” Trafford said in an email

Phone logs and emails. Did you read what I posted or did you miss the email portion? Add in emails, delivered, read receipts. Lawyer are lawyers for one of many good reasons. One being chain of evidence/communications

This is what America gets when House districts are gerrymandered severely by the Republican reactionary right. This one Jordan has been colluding in one way or another all of his life. Collude is anyway an overly polite word to use in whatever context it is applied. Other c-words appertain instead such as consent, cooperate, conspire.

Seems that it was an open secret that the Coach showered with team members, when injured, were asked to drop there shorts and other allegations

1 or 2 students from what I gather stated that Jordan was informed of this.

University is being investigated, but who oversees this?

Staff had (from what I know of US Law) a legal duty to report any allegations of abuse or molestation.

Now if more former students step forward the crap will hit the fan

He knew about it. The head coach probably wouldn't have, but the assistant coaches were closer to team captains than coaches. And this is the kind of thing that would have been all over the locker room. Everyone in the locker room would have known about it and joked about it.

But I think we need to cut Jordan a little bit of slack here. I'm not sure what it was like at OSU, but in my experience assistant wrestling coach wasn't a long term gig. This isn't like coaching in a money sport. Assistants were almost always in their early twenties and only did it for a few years to pay for grad school. Also remember, this was in the 1990s, not 2018. None of the wrestlers would have of acted like it was a big deal. No one seemed to be hurt. At the same time, three wrestlers died cutting weight over a six week period. Some pervy doctor would have been an annoyance, but it would have been pretty far down the list of priorities.

So yeah, he's almost certainly lying, but I'm not sure anyone should have expected him to act differently.
 
Not a Jordan fan, but the timing is certainly suspect.....
