Carnegie Melon reinvents the wheel with shape-shifting tech

I rebuilt almost all of the dialogue segments of the Leon show, where he's introducing the band or talking to the audience, and I stitched together vocals from other recordings on other reels from the tour using two different versions of that technology.

Without even a hint of a trace of sarcasm - I'm impressed.

It actually wasn't very difficult to do, once I figured out the learning curve.
The difficulty with this audio manipulation software is that you have to do it over and over and over until you get it right.
It is possible to spend an hour manipulating less than half a second of material.
Also, I spent a lot of money on it and now better versions are available for much less.
I had to have it the moment it was available so I suffered as an early adopter, which is par for the course.

And now I don't even use it at all because I only really needed it for that one project!
At least so far.

if it was on Fox News it's really real, for real; nothing fake about being real.
