Yeah, that's one of the things with hyperpartisans. They have to lie, stretch, spin, and deflect. As I had said earlier in this thread, I do not condone what Walters had called for, I don't see harassment protest as producing anything productive. But she wasn't calling for violence. That spin is just being made by Trumpettes using intellectually dishonest arguments to try to make it seem that the majority of people on the left want to run around picking fights with politicians.

Except that Maxine Waters is right. This isn't a normal government with normal cabinet secretaries. These are people installed that are doing harm to the institutions of the land and by calling the free press "enemies of the people," they are demonstrating animosity to democracy itself and people have a right to call them out in public places.

What I think is outrageous is Democratic leaders criticizing Waters instead of praising her. What we have is Republicans and some Democratic leaders telling Waters that's she's pushing the bounds of civility, when the President of the United States calls people he doesn't like "loser," "low intelligence," “I’d like to punch him [a protester] in the face,” etc. I guess a double standard is fine with Republicans.
