Actor Peter Fonda took to Twitter Wednesday to ask a mob of people to "rip Barron Trump from his mother’s arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles." He also called for violence against Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen and called White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders a "c---."

Not very couth, to be sure, but at least he didn't put babies in detention centers.

That said, why is it okay to kidnap immigrant babies and put them in detention centers but putting Barron in a detention center is bad?

Important to note: kidnapping thousands of young children and babies and putting them in detention facilities, and then making an executive order stopping the practice, doesn't mean you didn't kidnap thousands of young children and babies and put them in detention facilities.

As I recall, nobody made trump kidnap thousands of children and put them in detention facilities.

And on that point, signing an executive order stopping that practice sure does put the lie to the argument that he was forced to do this because of existing law, doesn't it?

Prove that the actions are unlawful or fraud?

Don't you think you're overdoing it with the kidnapping bit? Government has the power to detain people - that includes children - in certain circumstances. Detaining these people is completely legal. Separating children from their parents is a stupid policy but likening it to kidnapping is almost as bad as Fonda's comments.
