The Cannabis Act passed its final hurdle on Tuesday in a 52-29 vote in the Senate. The bill controls and regulates how the drug can be grown, distributed, and sold.

Canadians will be able to buy and consume cannabis legally as early as this September.

The country is the first in the G7 to legalise the drug's recreational use.

hehe...yeah, I'm guessing the pot driven tourism income will become a sore subject...though if nothing else, it will expedite legalization in America...hehe...
 
Canada should send some pot smoke clouds across the border, maybe they will eventually reach Washington D.C and chill out that square Jeff Sessions. :mrgreen:

I don't think the border patrol will give a rip about Americans bringing legal weed back into the states. I don't have that worry here, thank goodness. I live in WA state and it's already legal here :)

Playful response- No, we're just worried about how it's gonna get harder to move guerilla garden product south.

Serious response- Canada might soon cancel the 'safe third country' agreement with the US. This would mean that refugees could travel through the US and claim refugee status in Canada.
I have not a speck of doubt that Trump would have his minions bus those people from Texas to Bufallo, NY. We're a small country. We don't have facilities to deal with what might result.

Florida has been medicinal legal for awhile. Long enough that smoking is out and "tops" and wax are in. Recreational vote next year.
