GOP wants Trump in 2020, more popular than Obama, JFK, Reagan

I have said since 2015 that Trump is a one termer, though I no longer have confidence that Trump will not try for two....I really had hoped that Trump was smarter than to try.

I give dippy, an estimated IQ of, maybe, 115-120ish? Smoke and Mirrors, just a smiley glad hands with no talent other than personability. Sad really....

I'd like to say "he meant well", and I guess it's arguably true; the trouble is, that he only meant well for himself, he doesn't even GAF aboiut 'vanka, cept those (likely) memories of when he'd "hit that" before she married, say maybe around age 13-17ish?....

Sociopathy is a funneh funneh thing, till a whole nation getz kilt.....

I don't think (much or clearly, or without partisanship on this topic these days?) they make the case that the Republican Party is any smaller than it was when Trump was elected. As for Millenials, they are a big block, but they don't vote very much. (Shoulda been didn't, might not, and you desperately hope not? Cuz you likely got another thing comin there, lol)

Also, Trump's job approval numbers are up among likely voters, and he's gaining against the Democrats. (NFL) Lo-freakin'-L :lamo

As for the investigations, that's vapor.

Now you actually owe me a professional monitor cleaning and you best PRAY I ain't gotta file suit to replace the laptop in small claims, cuz I'm so dirt poor, if this thing dies, I FULLY intent to literally do EXACLTY that, and put a lien on some of your stuff if you lose and think you can stiff me....

Now seriously (Tho at it's writing I WAS entirely serious about my last paragraph), now that my oxygen dep, and laughter has finally subsided, and my belly is sore, please kinda explain....?

HOW THE **** do ya figure?

Both articles I posted tell us the Republican party is indeed shrinking. I was taking to task the Examiner article for failing to mention that. As to his "popularity", it still remains below the levels he held just prior to election and at inauguration. He won by the slimmest of margins than and has less to work with now.

While I appreciate the fact that the articles provided suggest Trump has lost the millennials, relying on them not voting is a bit of a false hope.... realize A) they will be four years older in 2020 and much more likely to vote and B) based on voter behavior since 2016, they are voting at a higher rate (realizing their apathy resulted in what we have now).

Trump did not win because he generated excitement; he won because the other side generated none. Trump's vote count was actually less than Romney's. To repeat, you have to hope that the Dems put up an equally uninspiring candidate.

If you needed additional references, try these...

New data shows Republican party shrinking fast in California | The Sacramento Bee

If you actually think the investigation is vapor, you must not have done well in chemistry as you can't recognize your solids from your gases.... Good luck with that one.

Naw dude, that's fake news and you know it. This ain't 1984. The truespeak, on that, you'd have to check Lord Trump's Twitter for. DAmn libtards, always thinking your "reasearch" and your links, and "science" prove something, wehn you just go scanning "news" sites looking for confirmation bias.

If you're willing, to accept Jesus, er I mean Trump into your heart, than maybe you get past that partisan hate, you enjoy so much?

Otherwise, I'm truly sorry about your TDS dude, that has to suck for ya?

Look, alternative fact, is that Trump IS why 'murica is FINALLY great. Trump, may have said he's not perfect, IDK (whether it's true or not, no one is really sure, but being literally the second coming of the Christ, it likely is...). Se Trump like the "Make America Great" slogan, but it's was Manafort that actually convinced him to use the white lie and add that "again" at the end, hilarious **** huh?

Stand in line, be it a shrinking line. :lamo

It is only shrinking cuz it only takes so long to vote, and then the line shrinks. Will be a VERY long day on their feet for this linesd up to vote for anyting except TRump.

Again: It was never about fiscal responsibility or Christian values. It was about racism and bigotry. The success of Trump should remove any doubt.
No, it clearly wasn't.

Yup. That blue ripple might change the tides, eh? Your lost moon, say bye-bye :2wave:, is what affects the tides, bro. :lamo

No, it clearly wasn't.

I'm serious here; how can you say that? Clearly, it has set white supremacists on FIRE with love for the R base, so what do you make of that simple fact? How in the hell would you explain it then?

Um, is English your second language or is the fear starting to make you lose sleep, now that Mani-boy is likely no longer a virgin anymore, at least with other men?

I get a feeling a few of the "homeboys" might have had or throw soon a nice Bukakke party for him, couln't have happened to a nicer guy either huh?

Honestly I do hope not, but if not, he won't get the full um, well, "flavor" of the prison experience, ya know, sorta like a preview. Sad we use incarceration as if that works to deter crime....

Young black hung studs, incarcerated in DC with a pretty girl like Mani, you put two and two together see what you get dude? At least with a lil lipstick and such, he might make a pretty girl yet, may even learn to enjoy it., ya never know....
Now, what was that sentence supposed to try to say?

Run against who? Trump won't run again, not sure why yet, but he won't, prolly won't be able to IMO.... Pence? Trump has no 20/20 "path to victory"? You think putin and his boys could pull that off on us with Trumpy twice in a row? If ya think so, what strain ya smokin? Have to pick me up some of dat and see for myself! Must be some Gooooooood Sheeeeeit!

Yep, IDK if TRump is consciously rasist, but it's clear he is, at least on a subconscious level...

But yeah, that is what this is about....:doh

*rolling eyes*

I know you wish that were true but I'll let you in on a little secret. It was about the economy, unfair trade deals and illegal immigrants that push American wages lower and are a burden to the taxpayer.

democrats are generally a disappointment. however, Trump is an abomination, so that makes the choice easy.

What's the difference between that and your decision to vote for him without knowing who his opponent is.

Will you vote for him in 2024 also? Because he will be on the ballot.

While I dont know where you are I am pretty sure you are not touching my post, in which case you should not be using it.

The Washington Examiner

Reagan was pretty much hated and feared until the economy improved, then everyone but the usual suspects in the swamp loved him. Here we are seeing the same with Trump.

While Trump is popular over a shrinking Republican Party, we have to remember that Clinton got 4 million more votes and lost by 100,000 votes across several key states. So, how is Trump state by state? According to 535:
1. Trump’s net approval has declined in all 50 states since he took office
...
2. Trump has seen big declines in some red states but not others

Eight of the 10 states (I’m treating Washington, D.C., as a state for these purposes.) where Trump’s net approval declined the most are places where the president lost in 2016. But his popularity has plunged more in ruby-red Utah (-27 points), Oklahoma (-23) and Montana (-21) than in swingy Colorado (-17) and blue California (-15). (Trump of course started with pretty lackluster numbers California and Colorado, so he had more room to fall in the red states.) That said, his numbers have held up much better in states such as South Carolina (-11), West Virginia (-10) and South Dakota (-7).
...
3. The Deep South is stable in its views on Trump

Jesus, will you guys ever stop pretending a borrowed prosperity is a good thing. Reagan was no economic hero, he began the modern GOP tactic of borrow and steal that the GOP still gets away with.

You guys are one-trick-ponies. You build up massive debt, crash the economy and then drop it on the next liberal who has to spend eight years digging us out while you hypocrites then become "conservative" again, blaming our economic problems on entitlements.

It's not the Trump bump, it's the douchebag circus wheel going around again.

Cannot help but notice how poorly educated the liberals in this forum are and how totally ignorant they are as to the economic and foreign policy successes of Trump because most here always vote on personality and likability rather than the ability to generate results. Please name for me any of the Trump economic results that you don't like, jobs? economic growth, U-6, people keeping more of what they earn? Show me some intelligence here and let's discuss actual results not leftwing charges

All before the strong economic results being generated that most Americans feel in their pocketbooks. Leftwing zealots like need a bigger federal govt. and more wealth redistribution and class warfare. The silent majority exists and you are going to see how big this fall in the midterms. your opinion is based solely on likability and not on any actual results which doesn't bode well for your credibility

All racists think they're just being logical.

There aren't any more racists in this country than the radical left who keeps African Americans bottle up on the plantation. Even blacks today are benefiting with the Trump economy. Why are you leftists so hateful, jealous, and so poorly informed

No. These are recent (May) polls and have the current economic conditions baked into the figures. While many give Trump credit (unlike the banks) others view the current economy as
continuation over the last several years. Moreover, other polls report Americans DO NOT see tax-cuts in their pocketbooks.
GOP strategists found the tax cuts an ineffective message against the Democratic candidates during a special House election in Pennsylvania and dropped the issue nearing Election Day.

Trump is 100% responsible for the drop in African American unemployment since 2009.
