Federal judge jails ex-Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort ahead of trial, citing recently filed obst

Why do you think this is funny?

Say Manafart- would you like mustard or mayo on your baloney sandwich?

Say Manafart- you want the top bunk or the bottom bunkie bed?

I can hear Manafart now sitting on his jail toilet- "Can someone please toss me some toilet paper"? LOL! Blahahahaha!

Because this is some funny stuff. I can hardly wait till he gets his new cellmate- Donnie Trump!

Wow! Just to think that Donald Trump's Campaign manager is now in jail facing life in prison!

How ironic is it?- That when Manafart was Donald Trump's Campaign Manager, he was out there on the stump screaming "Crooked Hillary- Lock her up- lock her up- lock her up"!

Now look who is in jail! Blahahahaha!

Oh, the Irony! LOL!

Re: Judge sends Paul Manafort to jail, pending trial

I'm saying there's no telling what really happen.

Oh yes there is. At least one witness that Manafort had illicitly contacted told the FBI what happened.

Why do you think this is funny?

Because Manafort is a POS and deserves to sit in a crappy jail. He clearly thinks he is above the law.

You realize why the judge ordered him to jail, right?

Re: Judge sends Paul Manafort to jail, pending trial

It is procedurally correct to incarcerate Manafort for witness tampering, but to indicate he will spend 25 years there unless he "cracks and cooperates" is not something anyone should be happy about.
Of course, as you say, it's not at all the case that somebody decided to throw Manafort in jail solely for the sake of breaking him.

It's the facts of the case which are doing the "indicating" you're unhappy about.
I'm sure Manafort is unhappiest of all about what the facts indicate.

Realistically, once the "procedurally correct" revocation of bail occurred, the defendant's only chance of getting free is to beat the rap at trial.
Reportedly, the evidence for this sort of a case is all in the paperwork — which is supposed to be relatively cut and dried.

Per your own assertion it's not like Manafort's bail was unfairly revoked.
And Manafort's conspiracy against the United States and other illegal activities were undertaken by Manafort.
So, it's really n'n'no-no-no-nobody's fault but his own that Manafort is facing hard time and is no longer out on bail.

It's only a possibility that the prosecution would be willing to grant some sort of lenience in exchange for Manafort's cooperation.
[ Given the reputation of some of the actors Manafort was dealing with, life in prison may be preferable to cooperating. ]
