SCOTUS strikes down law barring voters from wearing clothes with political message at polling places

    Full title:
Supreme Court strikes down law that barred voters from wearing clothes with political message at polling places

WASHINGTON In a 7-2 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday struck down Minnesota's century-old restriction on what*people can wear to the polling place on Election Day, handing a victory to challengers who said the law was too broad and difficult to enforce.
    Good decision.

    Pointless law.

States can still ban "electioneering" apparel at the polling stations. They struck down Minnesota's because it was too vague

yeah - this will do a great deal to curb our ever increasing tribalism.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

A none political don't tread on me t-shirt that someone at the polling place took offense to because it was associated with Tea Party Republicans. You still are prohibited from wearing a Hildabeast or Trumptard 2020 t-shirt after this ruling. It was to vague a law good judgment IMO.
