This sleaze has not one ethical bone in his body. He is clearly in government to try and use it to personally profit as much as possible.

WaPo: Pruitt enlisted EPA aide, donors to find his wife a job

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt used one of his aides to ask his big money donors for assistance in finding his wife a job, The Washington Post reports. The Post, citing multiple individuals familiar with the matter, said the EPA aide, Samantha Dravis, contacted Doug Deason, a prominent Republican donor with ties to the oil industry, for a job for Marlyn Pruitt in 2017.

When Deason said he couldn't hire her because of the conflict of interest over the oil holdings, "he agreed to brainstorm other possibilities for her" with Dravis, who has since left the EPA, and Pruitt's outside counsel, Cleta Mitchell, he told the Post.

Anything from the Washington Compost has no merit. By the way, Pruitt is doing a wonderful job deregulating the oil and gas business. My son's Fracking business is picking up New contracts. We owe it to Pruitt and of course Trump.

Sorry I didn't have a corresponding link to something you think does have merit like WND to appease you.

Yes thanks to Trump the price of oil keeps climbing making fracked oil profitable. Gasoline is at the highest price in 4 years. Yea Trump.

I'm loving it. So will my bank account in a few months when my oil and gas royalty checks start reflecting it.

Will be awesome when your son dies before you of horribly painful conditions from being explosed to all those fracking sites, won't it dude? I know I'm excited for ya about that dude! Getting those damn brown people out of our nation so much more importtant than people's health, our nations lands, the environment, and ya know, it's all about having way more money than you can ever spend right?

You Trump fans have no priorities past the ends of your noses....

I love this guy, Pruitt. Fixing the EPA, from the leftist mess and political weapon that is was under Obama. Of course, this means a never ending stream of hit pieces from the leftist media. Just more validation that he is doing the right thing for this country.

It's like Trump added fertilizer to the swamp. His are the most brazen, and numerous, violations of ethics I've ever seen. The naked grifting and abuse of taxpayer money is astonishing. I have to wonder if the people of Oklahoma should be concerned about his conduct while AG and state senator. Surely he didn't just decide this kind of behavior was appropriate when he became head of the EPA.

Pay to Play... name of the game these days (much to our detriment.)
If this was over a year-and-a-half ago, Obama would have fired him. Trump supports the swamp, regardless of mere words to the contrary.

He's a corrupt as **** republican so... I'm sure he makes you all steamy in the pants.

I love how people aren't even ashamed to admit they love corrupt Republicans. That sure contradicts all the "drain the swamp" pleas, doesn't it?

So you love the higher gasoline prices too? Please sir may I have another.

He won't even say the true reason why he loves pruitt. Which is, #liberaltears. It's the only true reason.

All that matters is that they "stick it" to the lefties and then they can profit to their hearts content on our dime.

I could care less about anyone not believing the truth of what I'm saying.

Or all the hollering Trump himself did about pay-for-play.

Why does Scott Pruitt still have his job?

Well of course you do or you wouldn't be here saying it.

Outrage over Pruitt's behavior is providing enough cover-noise for trump's shenanigans these days. Something I'm sure trump appreciates.

He's broken federal ethics laws and should be fired.

Is the Trump coma starting to slip? You critical of anything God Emporer Trump? What about the bang up job he's doing putting profits over the environment? Surely that gives you a bit of a partisan stiffy?

I'm sure he does appreciate the distraction from his own problems that Pruitt's wrongdoing affords him. What Pruitt has done, is seriously wrong. In previous presidential eras, his egregious transgressions would not have been a welcome distraction for the president, it would have been a great embarrassment and he would have been fired long ago.

Oh for the days of Reagan and James Watt.
A controversy erupted after a speech to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in September 1983, when Watt mocked affirmative action by making the following statement about a coal leasing panel: "I have a black, a woman, two Jews and a cripple. And we have talent." [22] Watt resigned within weeks of making this statement. [22][23] In 2008, Time magazine named Watt among the ten worst cabinet members in modern history. [24]

But a grifter and abuser of taxpayer money still has his job. This is where we are.
