It was uniquely qualified to track the movements of the 53rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade’s Buk launchers. The US provided no evidence at all. Many claims from "anonymous" sources at DoD, but no evidence. Kiev quickly confiscated all ATC tapes and as far as I know has still not released them.

When entering Kiev airspace, the flight was given new routing and a lower altitude. Nobody in Kiev has explained why, and enquiring aeronautical minds want to know.

Not a single picture of the terrific trail by any BUK launch. That is evidence that there was NOT a BUK launch.

BBC showed amateur video on day one showing the descending airliner, one engine in flames. Poor quality video, but useful. It took AAM to the engine. That's not BUK. A day or 2 later BBC retracted that video. BBC also showed interviews with peasants nearby, and they reported climbing fighters. That information was also quickly taken down, because it corroborated the information shown by Russian radar of 2 climbing fighters.

The cabin and left wing upper surface showed clear signs of cannon fire. Those pictures were taken down.

The only evidence provided by the US so far is evidence of suppression of evidence and cover-up. That effort is typical for our government, I'm sorry to report.
