SCOTUS Gives Win to Corporations

So that idiot asshole Hannity said something and you swallow it hook line and sinker. Actually that is not unexpected, but still, why not educate yourself on the topic before parroting something moronic and betraying ignorance?

You didn't look at the facts straight. I agree Hannity is an idiot. I wouldn't believe one damn thing he said. That's not what the links showed. In fact, the first link blasted Hannity for claiming that the most overturned circuit appeals court is a liberal court when in fact it is actually a conservative court, not the 9th as Hannity claimed. But, if you look at the evidence, the 9th was the second most overturned circuit appeals court and most of the others on the list are all liberal courts. That's what the second link shows, the makeup of each of the courts. The most overturned court was a conservative court, which shows that that particular court doesn't know it's ass from a whole in the ground either. But, the majority of those overturned courts are mostly all liberal courts. It seems kind of ridiculous to me that any of those courts should be overturned anywhere close to 50% of the time and yet the top 7 on the list were way over 50%. It just goes to show how many of them are ruling by emotions and feelings rather than what the actual law is and it is sobering to think how many of these decisions don't even make it to the Supreme Court because there are just so many the SC can take up in a year.

The links support the general notion that three of the four most overturned circuits are liberal. Whether or not the 9th is the most overturned was beside his point.
Where in which link did you find that information?

I tried, but I make mistakes too.

Well, it is a small world after all.

Now you have to take into account also who does the overturning. Bottom line is that no matter who or which, courts can not shake the ideology or biases of their members all the time. It is just part of the imperfect world we live in.

Perhaps I misunderstand your question, "how does it serve the people to prevent ca lawsuits". That statement made me wonder why you think SCOTUS perceives its mission as "serving the people"?

I don't see how "serving the people" in anyway describes the purpose or duty of SCOTUS, either in theory or pragmatically.

I know what you are going to say, “the purpose of SCOTUS is to serve the Constitution.” Tell me, what part of the Constitution does this ruling apply to?

This ruling applies to the case in question, as all rulings do.

I would love to continue if you could rephrase your question, or offer your opinion as to "what part of the USC this ruling applies to". Thanks

Wouldn't a true strict interpreter of the Constitution declare that dictating to contracts between employers/employees is beyond the authority of Congress and strike down the law as unconstitutional, leaving the matter to the states?
