Mueller Reveals Basis for Manafort Probe to Skeptical Judge

Meuller also got the statute of limitations extended.
Where'd you hear that?
Statutes are set by legislatures.
It seems beyond unlikely that Mueller did anything of the sort.

Though stranger things have happened.
So, what makes you think that Mueller "got the statute of limitations extended"?

I can't point to a specific thing to disagree with you, other than the general concepts of our legal system. In a general sense, it's not incumbent upon the defense to prove they are innocent or there is no case against them but it is for the prosecution to provide the evidence they have to prove their case.

Further, defense teams are supposed to have equal access to the material that the prosecution has. You cannot withhold evidence from them. What this means if there is sensitive information?...that's another thing I do not know but it have a very icky feeling to it if you can charge someone without them being able to defend themselves properly, and you're supposed to have the right to a jury trial as well.

And the only reason this has gone so far is that the defendant has enough money Meuller can’t break him. I guess Meuller will go after the defendants wife next.

(He is no longer “Mr. Manafort, associate of the President. He’s just a citizen. Remember that statue with a blindfold on?)
