Trump Vows to Save ZTE Jobs Lost After U.S. Sanctions Against the Chinese Company

Chump's action on saving ZTE began a mere 72 hours after the Chinese government injected half a million dollars into a Trump development project in Malaysia. He's that brazen.

Just read about this.
Looks very ugly.

Yeah, "what about the Clinton Foundation?" is either Clinton President of the US?

When he was president, he was paid off by the Chinese -- he should still face charges for that -- since then, they are still being paid off and both should face charges for that. There is no proof that Trump has a quid pro quo relationship with China -- he is a businessman doing business stuff

I clearly stated that China is to be given credit for this for joining in Resolution 2321, which was passed in November of 2016, before Trump was even elected. A few months later, China went on to ban all imports of coal for the rest of 2017, right after Trump took office. I have no idea what Obama's part was with China here. You should make it a point to actually read and comprehend another's post before replying nonsensically.

But notice how quickly you jump to praise Trump because of South Korea's obvious political declaration, despite North Korea realistically declaring that Trump is an impediment to this. The evidence and common sense screams that China is the major player, not Trump. Perhaps if you started to look at things beyond "Obama" or "Trump," and "lib" or "con," you may discover a whole wide world out there.

I blame it on the Goggles of Truth.

Well, biff_, if you have proof of these accusations you should provide to your favourite Congress critter - maybe Devin Nunes could do something with it. Trey Gowdy is obviously in the bag with the Clintons as he couldn't find anything despite a year of searching for something, anything.

More on the China/Trump/Indonesia deal from the National Review. Some 'interesting' details are to be found in the piece

China Contributing $500 Million to Trump-Linked Project in Indonesia

The Chinese government is extending a $500 million loan to a state-owned construction company to build an Indonesian theme park that will feature a Trump-branded golf course and hotels.

A subsidiary of Chinese state-owned construction firm Metallurgical Corporation of China (MCC) signed a deal last week with the Indonesian firm MNC Land to build an “integrated lifestyle resort,” as part of Beijing’s global influence-expanding “Belt and Road” infrastructure initiative.

The project will include a number of Trump-branded hotels, a golf course, and a residence. While the $500 million loan will not be directly allocated to any of the Trump-branded features, Beijing’s contribution of half the project’s total operating budget ensures the success of the broader theme-park venture.

The Trump properties are considered flagship elements of the theme park, according to MNC marketing materials, and internal documents obtained by Agency France-Presse show Trump’s sons have been directly involved in its planning.

Though negotiations began prior to Trump’s election and his pledge to cease engaging in new business dealings with foreign governments, the project raises questions about the extent to which the Trump organization is dependent on Beijing amid contentious trade negotiations with the U.S.

“Even if this deal is completely and entirely above board, it simply furthers the perception of impropriety” surrounding Trump’s business dealings, Christopher Balding, an economics professor at Shenzhen’s HSBC Business School, told AFP. “Especially with the potential trade war, this is not a good look….Critics will be entirely right to demand answers.”

That looks about as fishy as it gets.

This story is just unraveling. This is not good for the Trump family, at all.

It's a nothingborger, hey look, there's corrupt Hillary! If only we spent as much time investigating her as our fine upstanding patriot presidential family, we'd finally get the real criminals.

Where were you when Hillary was running Pay for Play out of the Clinton Foundation, and leaking Top Secrets on an illegal email server?

Ya must have a love/hate affair with the Clinton's? That is not emotionally healthy

if we survive the complete cluster**** of a Trump presidency & if there is eventually some 'tribute' in DC to our Mafioso in Chief it may well read something like ........

............. "I came, I saw, I made **** up as I went along"

That is one hell of a great line

Trump is a business man, I am sure he is doing the right thing -- and is far better at this than Obama

How are you sure? I mean, smart businessmen think it's a good idea to dump waste into waterways regardless of who is affected just because it cuts cost. If you want to be myopic, then sure, it's a good business move.

Evaded sanction on NK/Iran. No penalties to employees who ran this.
Imagine if Obama pulled this? Traitor would be the response from the RW.
Needless to say this was part of the trade talks between the US/China.
Why move before you have a deal?

This happened 72 hours after China donated 500 million to the Trump organization to build a Trump resort in Indonesia. This, folks, is graft at it's finest.

Well this may be linked to Trumps sudden concern for Chinese workers.
And the link is from the National Review- a conservative news organization.
