Cheney: US should restart harsh interrogations, back Haspel (AP)

The response of the uninformed.

The response of the willfully arrogant that would rather believe heresay than those that have experienced the real deal.

Carry on your ignorant arrogance is dully noted.

That's actually not how it works. Enhanced interrogation is not used to obtain information, but to obtain compliance, asking questions to which we already know the answer. After compliance is achieved, then normal (non-enhanced) interrogation proceeds.

That is outdated theory that has not been proven to be successful. I prefer we not resort to ISIS techniques.

No need to be churlish. My knowledge of this topic is direct from program briefings.

That's neat. Can you please inform us with links?

That would be so awesome!

Oh wait, if you could have, you probably would have before...

In early 2015 publishers released the study in book form and called it "the report" on "torture." Rebuttal presents the "rest of the story." In addition to reprinting the official responses from the SSCI minority and CIA, this ...

I'll be happy to PM you a link to my LinkedIn page and you can see for yourself.

Naah I think I'll stick with people that have first hand knowledge.

You remind me of the time my state wanted to find out why teachers were leaving in droves from the profession. So what do they do? They fund research costing hundreds of thousands of dollars when all they had to do was ask the teachers. I mean how much could a survey via email open to comments cost?

As you wish. My point, of course, was that my knowledge is first hand.

We should waterboard Cheney. I mean, it's not like it's torture or wrong or anything.

Dick Cheney is one of the biggest thieves ever to hold office, and, by proxy, IMO, guilty of "mass/serial negligent homicide", due to his role in the 2005 energy act, tho, but that's way off topic....

Back Haspel, sure, why not, she has the experience, and at least said she's not interested in pursuing such methods, so why does that moron even gotta open his fat ugly mouth on the matter? It seems a moot point to me.

I hate feeling this way, but can't Darth Vader just go croak already? Him and Billary are three folks, I'd like to never hear about again in relation to politics; **** you Cheney, ya heartless POS, hope your money comforts you while you rot in hell someday....

WASHINGTON (AP) — Former Vice President Dick Cheney said the U.S. should restart the harsh detention and interrogation practices used on terror suspects after 9/11, and called on the Senate to confirm CIA nominee Gina Haspel.

Brutal interrogation practices are currently banned under U.S. law, but debate on the issue has re-surfaced during Haspel’s confirmation process because she was once involved in the CIA’s interrogation program.

Good old Dick Cheney wants to bring back water boarding & worse.

That guy that he shot in the face apologized for getting in the way but Cheney still wants his birdshot back.
I don't know that the hunting accident thing is relevant, but for damn sure Cheney can **** right the hell off with this bull****.
