In February 2017, a top White House aide who was Trump's longtime personal bodyguard, along with the top lawyer at the Trump Organization and a third man, showed up at the office of Trump's New York doctor without notice and took all the president's medical records.

The incident, which Dr. Harold Bornstein described as a "raid," took place two days after Bornstein told a newspaper that he had prescribed a hair growth medicine for the president for years.

I guess this is all it takes to get on Trump's bad side - make a comment about Trump's hair. I'm not sure if Trump raiding this "doctor's" office is even legal. Also the hypocrisy - Trump accused the FBI of "breaking in" to Cohen's office when Trump does the same thing to his former "doctor".

Could Trump have a serious health issue or is this just Trump's vanity?

Bernstein looks like he knows about hair growth!

We trust this guy because he takes Pt confidentiality so serious?

BWAHAHAHA!!

Bornstein said that Trump cut ties with him after he told the New York Times that Trump takes Propecia, a drug for enlarged prostates that is often prescribed to stimulate hair growth in men. Bornstein told the Times that he prescribed Trump drugs for rosacea and cholesterol as well.

Although I think the raid was illegal, the comments to the press violated the hipaa laws.

Well, the propecia's not working, unless Trump has a huge, blonde codpiece. I guess we'll have to wait until McDougal and Daniels are deposed, to know that for sure :)

What part of the story are you having trouble believing? That the raid happened or that Trump has a hair growth issue?

I'm surprised that Trump didn't have him charged for that.

In this case he should have, I as much as I dislike Trump would hope Trump would have won.

A doctor should never release medical records to the press. Only in communal health issues should it be reported to anyone but the patient (ie communical disease)

Really drudging in the deep stinking, slimy mud here!
From February 2017? No other slop to sling today?

While I agree, there may have been violations, I'm trying to imagine the RW going full-blitz nutzo if Obama had sent in paid thugs to raid his doctors office extrajudicially.

They'll justify any insane idiotic action by trump......This means nothing to them

The doctor shouldn't have divulged the medication Trump was taking and Trump shouldn't have sent goons to break into the doctor's office. (Let's not call it a "raid." It was a criminal break-in).

Scumbag thugs, every one of them.

He'll be floating face down in the Hudson River by the weekend.

I wonder, though, why it took him fourteen months to say anything. Why now?

Just another character in the Trump clown car. I don't think the "doc" is in any danger. Ronny Jackson's still kickin' and he knows the true scoop on Major Bone Spur's health as well!

Sarah Sanders just admitted the whole thing without batting an eye. This WH is unbelievable.

Ah, so when Trump's "doctor" is the raid victim it's justified - when it's Trump's mob "fixer" (Cohen) it's a break-in. Hopefully we'll never become numb to the Trump hypocrisy.

The doctor violated trumps privacy right and trump did a very reasonable thing by retrieving his records to prevent future violations. I'm not seeing how trump is the villain for taking something that he has a legal right to have.

Or, perhaps, he knows something is going to come out soon. He wants to get attention on this so he can tweet about how outrageous it is that it was reported.
