Maybe so. But the Obama Admin created this problem by seeking out a warrant in court based upon the dossier.
How do we know the provenance of the sources? After all, the entire argument is that Russia tried to screw with the election.

Here is the problem with that train of thought.
Once the allegation was out in the press, and Trump was notified that out own Law Enforcement were aware of the allegations, it likely no longer can serve as blackmail material.

Yes, of course, Trump was only repeating lies his imaginary (unnamed) friends told him about the trip. How convenient (and a total coincidence) those lies by imaginary friends worked to disprove the pee tape story.

No, you said a photo time stamped on Friday in front of a famous restaurant in Moscow, taken by the restaurant and posted by them, was not evidence of Trump being in Moscow on that Friday.

I think the FBI had enough evidence against Carter Page to get a warrant without the dossier.
