It's quite a difference between being WH physician and managing the VA. He has absolutely no experience in management.

His role as doctor was obviously low-profile enough for allegations of a hostile work environment, drinking on the job and wrongful medication prescriptions to fly under the radar. When you're suddenly asked to go from personal physician to running one of the most complex administrations in the government, it's natural that your qualifications and any demons you may have under the hood will have a rather glaring spotlight shone on them.

But not looking for qualified candidates or vetting them in advance is all par for the course for this White House.

I don't like him because he is not qualified, never was vetted, drinks too much, and over prescribes medications.

Naval officers don't become admirals without command experience. Commanders are managers. Stop parroting the erroneous statement that he has "zero/no management experience".

He is the White House physician he has been vetted over and over! A Dr, does not just walk in and start treating the president. In fact he has treated 3 different presidents!! The non-vetting is bull *hit!

His appointment has been put on a permanent hold by the Congressional committee charged with vetting him. No more needs to be said.

That is demonstrably not true. And if it is true, then it means the White House thought it appropriate to appoint a man with no administrative experience with allegations of drinking on the job, wrongful prescription of medications and creating a hostile work environment. Neither of these scenarios look good for the White House.

There are almost as many Republicans that hate President Trump as there are Democrats, so the factbthat it's bi-partisan don't make it any less dubious.
