A number of injuries are being reported after pedestrians were struck by a white van in Toronto, police say.

Toronto police said the incident happened around 1 p.m. on Monday in the area of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue.

“Reports were that a white van mounted the curb, drove down the sidewalk at southbound Yonge, south of Finch, and struck eight to 10 people possibly, the numbers aren’t confirmed yet,” Toronto police spokesperson Gary Long told Global News

Tragic.

Here in the states, something like that seems impossible in Canada, cuz we ten to have a mental image of Canadians as being the ultimate polite, proper, rule following sort of people.

Unfortunate but we have these types as well.

As to Hockey, take no prisoners. 1st played in Windsor, Nova Scotia, just down the road from where I live

Neither having a second amendment or not having one can really prevent getting rammed by cars like this. But I understand what you are saying, I think.

did you guys see the video of the driver being apprehended? Using a fake gun pulling it out and aiming it multiple times, really fast, at the cops trying to get killed.
