Democratic Party files suit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign, and WikiLeaks conspired to disrupt

It only exists in your imaginations. Of course, your imaginations also think it's ok for men to pee in little girls bathrooms, so we're operating on a pretty radical curve here.

This simple-minded post says everything I need to know about you- none of it good.

What a diversion. Not even 10 posts into the thread...

Have you investigated Trump's bathroom policy? You might not be happy....

Damn those democrat lawyers, sneakily registering as and voting republican!

An examination of the voter registration records of the 16 publicly confirmed lawyers on Mueller's team found that 13 of them are registered Democrats. Not a single one is a registered Republican. Three have no party affiliation.

While previous reports revealed that 9 of the known 16 had donated over $60,000 to Democrats, TheDC's study found that in fact 11 have made donations, some of which were not in FEC records. Previous reports found that one of the nine who donated to Democrats also donated a few thousand to Republicans.

Russia hacked emails from the DNC.

Trump Jr met with Russian nationals and coordinated the timing of the release of the stolen information.

WikiLeaks released the information at the pre condition times.

Sees open and shut to me, trump better get his checkbook out. But personally I wouldn't take a check from him...

None of that happened...la la la, I can't hear you!

Its just a repeat of history, same thing was done during the Nixon era.

No one knows what Mueller will find, including probably Mueller. Of course, that is a stupid suggestion of why the DNC did this. There are, most likely, multiple reasons, which include publicity going into the midterms, and as a fundraising tactic, and because it gets more testimony under oath, and more investigations of events(with less secrecy).

A lawsuit. Are you effing kidding me?

So the two-year FBI investigation's lack of collusion evidence isn't enough, so we're going to fire up a political PR campaign.

Just take your ass whipping and go home. This is the end result of the participation trophy culture on full display.

Lack of charges so far during an ongoing investigation does not mean lack of evidence. Nice try pushing your overlord's talking points though.

Currently, we have read or heard that there's no evidence against the POTUS because it's been said by both Mueller and Rosenstein, (special investigation and Michael Cohen probe respectively), that he is not a target.
Target: The term “target of an investigation” is also specifically defined by the DOJ. A person is a target where the prosecutor or Grand Jury has substantial evidence linking him to the commission of a crime. Designation as a target provides a clear warning of a person’s criminal exposure.

i see two ultimate goals for this

1. keep this Russia thing in the news as long as possible to help the november elections and hopefully overturn one or both houses

2. Get Trump into a chair testifying under oath

I dont think either will happen....but keep throwing enough crap against the wall, and eventually the hope is some will stick

i guess we will see....

Sure thing Redress.

Democratic Party files lawsuit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks conspired to disrup

The Democratic National Committee filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit Friday against the Russian government, the Trump campaign and the WikiLeaks organization alleging a far-reaching conspiracy to disrupt the 2016 campaign and tilt the election to Donald Trump.

The complaint, filed in federal district court in Manhattan, alleges that top Trump campaign officials conspired with the Russian government and its military spy agency to hurt Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and help Trump by hacking the computer networks of the Democratic Party and disseminating stolen material found there.

I think the reason that the lawsuit was filed was, not for the money, but for discovery. This is a pretty ruthless move, considering that Democrats have no spine. I guess we can now call them honorary Republicans. LOL.

Here is the actual filing.

Just another chapter in your "resistance" movement. Yes we can stipulate that Trump wanted Hillary to lose the election. This is a civil suit, what would be the remedy?

Simply another cheap headline for the Washington Post and CNN to chirp about for a few days. Doing "analysis" as to the how viable the case is. Must be their audience is getting tired of their porn star.

Perhaps the rest of us can discover why the DNC refused to allow the government to examine their servers.

No evidence, and no substantial evidence is not the same thing. English, it is important.

Just let me know if you need me to ruin another of the talking points you where spoon fed. Happy to help.

Excuse me?
You might want to read or reread the definition of a target that I posted for you above.

Trump is not a target because there is NO substantial evidence, no evidence! Why would they charge Trump if there's no evidence, no substantial evidence?

Now let's review what you originally claimed:
Lack of charges so far during an ongoing investigation does not mean lack of evidence

You are playing word games.

Well, proof will need to be provided by the Dems for this.

It would be difficult to imagine how they don't have standing.

It would seem they would have to show that their servers were hacked. Their own internal review saying they were and its subsequently endorsed by the FBI wont be enough.

Re: Democratic Party files lawsuit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks conspired to di

If they want to prove that they were hacked by Russians, this time they will have to turn over their servers to the FBI and other counterintelligence agencies to verify those accusations

They previously refused to have them investigated. That never made any sense unless they had something to hide. Anyway my thoughts on their new lawsuit is it is a desperate measure because they know Mueller hasn't come up with anything and rumor is his investigation is winding down. And they fear it will be over before the midterms and will lose their anti-Trump "he's a crook and a liar" crap for the anti-Trump MSM to pile on daily.

It must have been a real slap in the face for many of them when Mueller's spokesperson gave a statement that much of the news stories about his investigation were false.

Truly I can not wait to see Mueller's report along with IG Horowitz's final report in the coming days. I think both of them are going to make much of the media look like vicious partisans and many of them will be left with no credibility.

I could be wrong but I don't think so.

They didn't do "an internal review." The FBI's endorsement of the analysis is good, as is the confirmation by Dutch Intelligence that they were hacked. The most important point isn't that they were hacked or that Russians did it. Both of these have long since been established. The interesting point will be whether lawyers for the DNC can adequately argue that multiple attempts by the Trump campaign to conspire in fraud against the DNC in specific and the elections in general. This will be a civil case so a jury or judge will merely need to be convinced that there is reasonable evidence to agree with the DNC.

Re: Democratic Party files lawsuit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks conspired to di

It's pretty bad when CNN says the lawsuit is a stunt.

CNN’s chief political analyst Gloria Borger said on Friday the Democratic National Party’s lawsuit against Russia, the Trump campaign and Wikileaks is a “100% stunt” designed to “raise money.”

“They want to get in the act, they want to keep the story moving,” she said, speaking to host Brooke Baldwin about the newly-announced lawsuit regarding the 2016 election. “This is nothing new. Everyone has been — every Democrat, political Democrat has been charging that the Trump campaign was in collusion with Wikileaks, et cetera, et cetera.”

“Honestly, it’s just a way to raise money,” she continued. “The Democrats haven’t been having trouble raising money. They’re raising gobs of money for their candidates this time around. I think this is just one more way to get into the act here. And continue what they’ve been doing all along.”

Not that I care about what talking potato heads have to say, I don't really agree with her that the Dems are raising gobs of money. If they were, you wouldn't be seeing articles like this one:

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has yet to release its March fundraising numbers. The RNC has outpaced its Democratic counterpart for at least 11 consecutive months. The DNC ended February with just $10 million.
