Its a theory the DNC has.

Well, as they wish to go to court to seek redress, they need to prove their conspiracy theory, each part of it, and as its civil court with a preponderance of the evidence.

Which means the very first thing they need to do is to prove the DNC was hacked.
So it is quite on topic to question whether in fact they have evidence to do so, and whether that evidence is acceptable in a court of law.

"discovery" ain't fiction poweRob, the DNC will have to prove their assertions. I look forward to it. The Russian government will be all over this like a chicken on a June bug. This is all assuming a judge will even allow this suit to move forward.

I'm quite sure the DNC has standing, but the defendants will try that first.

I sincerely doubt the Russian government will ever respond or participate in a nanosecond of this case.

Why are so many posters in this thread pretending that the DNC should be afraid of discovery? All discovery sucks. That's the nature of a complicated civil case, especially when it involves rich and powerful entities that consider each other mortal enemies. Also and obviously, the DNC filed the suit. They know what is coming for them and are clearly not too afraid to proceed.

Comey didn't renounce the Republican Party. He renounced the Fruitcake Party, which is what the GOP has become. There is no Republican Party any more. It's as dead as a doornail.

I think there will be many, many more defections. The exodus of Republican lawmakers should signal something to that party. It's a hollow husk.
 
There will be a report from a Paliamentary committee on interference both internal and external in the Brexit referendum campaign, which seems to have been a practice run for the Trump election scam. Many of the actors are the same people, companies, sponsors, (and Russia). That said, the report will be anodyne and dissembling, since the May government dislikes dissent.
