Barbara Bush is a McCall so she is from a family that did not have the 'average' American experience; her family was actually quite well to do.

the family never 'hurt' for any financial issue, period.

IMO it is a shame she did not pick a better 'other half' as both her husband & GW are pretty much human abominations that have served Satan nicely.

She was a Grand Dame. She raised a great family and was married to a great man. She downplays her impact: "All I did was marry and birth well". A true role model.

Barbara is a first lady I don't know very much about but she seemed just lovely.

I know the Bush family is hurting today like any other family would.

Same here JBM. She's not a First Lady I really knew or know too much about, which may in and of itself speak to who she was.
