I won't say "tougher" but he has the courage to make military decisions promptly and confidently that Obama totally lacked. Obama's warnings and threats were never taken too seriously, because they (the Russians, Iranians, North Koreans and ISIS) knew the man.

Assad crossed a well demarcated line; he got thumped once and tonight he is getting hammered. Trump is not Obama.

When talking about Trump's words from five years ago, context is important. Your lack of consideration of context results in your mention of those words dismissable. Please consider them dismissed.

Trump made his announcement and timed it perfectly with the actual attack. Does that give you heartburn?

I made no mention of 9/11. In fact, I'm doing my best to limit my comments to this thread's topic.

btw, 9/11 didn't kill "over 500,000".
 
I suppose the inspectors who were going in to establish who committed the gassing of civilians will have to cancel tomorrow's visit till the bombing of civilians is finished.

Ok so what was the context Mr. Trump translator?

I also don't like how you are assuming that bombing people is considered to be tough. It's also obvious that Trump did not react right away. As the US-UN report says Syria has constantly been using chemical weapons at least 50 times during the war. Trump has only struck them twice.
