The right-wing have been obsessed with conspiracy theories for decades. When my friends hear me explain the conspiracies surrounding Vince Foster's suicide, they just roll over with laughter when they hear the insanity.

The irony is that the far-right think it's everybody else that is nuts.

Yep, and in Trump's case it's almost comical. Kind of like the crook who is always getting pulled over and busted with stolen goods, and his family complaining about how the cops all out to get him. Yeah, well, it's kinda supposed to work that way.

If Trump wasn't such a colossal **** up as President and as a human, people might be willing to cut him some slack. But when you mock disabled people, when you incite violence against your critics, when you lie pathologically, and you use your status to try and ruin people for doing their job..well you get what's coming to you.

I, for one, don't believe Trump personally colluded with anybody regarding Russian interference in the 2016 election. Members of his campaign staff, maybe. Maybe not. What we do know is that his campaign was compromised by Russian operatives. There was a concerted effort by Russian sources, with some American assistance, to interfere in the election.

That is a conspiracy.

There is actual conspiracy and then there is bat****, tin foil hat conspiracy theory.
 
Trump won't release his taxes & won't do an interview with Mueller - what is he hiding & is so afraid will be found out?

There was no conspiracy, they were simply played by the Kremlin, and are trying to cover it up.

The Kremlin wanted to see how easy it was to influence Trump and his inner circle, as well what was possible for the Russian to achieve in the election. Trump and his inner circle of clowns got caught in the Kremlin mouse trap, easy as pie. All they needed was the promise of some political dirty and some possible financial opportunities, and they were willing to entertain just about anything.

Now they are covering it up.

Well since trump asked Russian hackers to release any Hillary emails they had it isn’t a conspiracy it’s fact. Add into the fact that trump said he liked Wikileaks during the 2016 election shows a willingness to collusion.

Well, we know for a fact that the Clinton campaign accepted a report written with information from Russian government sources.

We also know for a fact that Obama Admin used that report as evidence to argue to an American court for warrants against American citizens.
Why trust Russian government part of time?

If we are going to speculate that the Trump campaign circle of clowns innocently got caught up in a Russian mouse trap, then we must also speculate that so did the campaign and the Obama Admin.

And that warrants an investigation not simply centered on Trump & Co.

I know members of cult trump like to try to pretend that the dossier is equivalent to meeting with foriengn Nationals from a hostile country to coordinate the timing of the release of stolen property.

Let me prove you wrong.

The dossier is a report compiled and written by one of the worlds formost experts in Russian intelligence. He used his contacts and influence to collect data on trump and members of his campaign team.

To prove what they did is on the up and up they turned it into the FBI and the information was credible enough parts were taken I to consideration for a warrant.

One is legal, the other is not, see the difference?

The note to which I responded suggested that due to their stupidity and avarice, Trump & Co. fell victim to a Russian plot.
Based upon the evidence thus far ((which of course does not include anything that Trump and co handled information from the Russian government), that is a reasonable conclusion.
Yet we know for a fact the Clinton campaign and Obama admin did handle and used such information from the Russian government.
Isnt it worthwhile to wonder how their circle of clowns fell victim to the same plot?

Because all that Profit at Mar-A-Lago, and favors he does based on that, naw, not abnormal, illegal but prolly just gives ya a little thrill he can have such a profitable and right in the open emolients violation and cash cow. I also love how y'all are Mueller insiders privy to the case. And I'm sure Comey is all lies, about Trump being and ego obsessed jr. mobster unconcerened about anything but obsessing on the investigation and planning how to hurt his enemies, it's just wonderful for the country huh? We have the of the statements of mr. Steele that his dossier was compiled crom his sources in the Russian government. We have tbe clinton campaigns' admission they paid for the information which Steele provided.
And have Mr. Comey testimony, as well as majority and minority report from the House intelligence commitee, that the dossier was used as evidence in a court of law by the Obama admin to secure warrants on American citizen.
It is pretty much a slam dunk.

The Obama admin used information that was obtained from thevRussian government (unless you wish to argue that mr. Steele is lyingbabout his sources) to obtain warrants. I mean, if we we are going to start talking about treason...

Why is it so imposible for you to understand, that paying Steele to investigate in Russia was not illegal, nor abnormal, nor even "improper" for a campaign to do, as well as the fact that the appearence of impropriety motivated them to do it, and that NOT ONE POINT of the dossier has been disproven, yet much evidence supporting it does exist? So no, there was nothing like what Trump's team is being investigated for, it's a false equivelency and a lie you tell yourself so often that you've fully bought in on something that has no real basis in reality.

The ONLY point you have is the maybe inmporopriety of the FISA warrant, and even that isn't very strong defense, considering the seriousness of what's being investigated. So your defenses are not only incorrect, they are total nothingburgers....

Occams razor could very well describe what happened --- both Trump, Clinton and Obama were victims of a Russian plot.
But as long as people insist upon criminilizing the actions of 1/3 of the above caught up in the plot, then there is going to be pushback.

2) No, it's not a reasonable conclusion. The secret meetings, the denials, all point at criminal intent.

3) That doesn't make sense. If you have a case to be made, you will have to present it.

The dossier doesn't have to be disproven. This is America. It has to be proven. And as mr. Comey has testified, it is not verified.

Mr steele doesnt know for a fact ANYTHING in his report. How could he? He hasnt been in Russia for 20 years. Most of his sourcres are annoymous. How do we know the nature of sources? We dont. Are you really going to claim that we should not think ill of Mr. Putin?

It's all they have, an obsessive need to at least paint the other guys as the same, to elevate Trump's bad behavior. Problem is, Trump more corrupt than Nixon, but the right doesn't care, they admire it....

At least half of it is proven, evidence supporting what's unproven exists, no evidence exists disproving it, but yet, you just don't understand. I don't think you're capable, maybe not intellectually incapable, but defintely emotionally incapable of grasping this and suggest you stop trying, cuz it isn't working....
