Imagine. There's less than 6,000 population in Humbolt. Not all of the players would have been from there, but they all would have been from similar places on the prairies.
Junior hockey on the Canadian prairies is like, well, think of Texas high-school football.

The accident was just a couple of hundred kilometres north of here. President Trump sent his condolences. That was an example of human decency. While I have never agreed with his politics, I have to say thank you Mr. President.

Just been watching the preparations for the memorial on TV. It's gonna be an emotional event.

Gonna be a public vigil today, in the arena.
Each one of those guys kind of had two families- the one he grew up with and the one that billeted him in Humboldt.
