Tickets to hear former FBI Director James Comey plug his forthcoming book in Chicago sold out in a hot minute. But folks who were lucky enough to snag tickets with a face value of $35-$60 to the April 20 event at the Harris Theater have slapped a hefty markup on the secondary market.

James Comey's new book will outline his experiences with the FBI & Donald Trump. He will be plugging it at a Chicago venue & the tickets are selling like hot cakes. They are going for $1 large on the secondary market. It should be interesting reading & to listen to him as he's a pretty good public speaker & has lots to talk about.

Fired FBI Director James Comey is headed back to the public square via a promotional tour for his new book, with tickets reportedly going for up to $850. But James Gagliano at The Hill asks whether Comey, “a central witness in Special Counsel Robert Muller’s probe,” should be making his version of events public just now. In tweeting a threat after Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was fired, says Gagliano, Comey “conceded the tiny sliver of moral high ground he precariously clung to and reduced his position as an advocate of the pursuit of facts into a narcissistic quest to sell books.” His book tour “may indeed settle an old score” — but it will also “diminish what’s left of his once-bulletproof reputation” and expose the FBI to “further, irreparable harm.”

I see he's taking Muller's probe seriously :roll: I think this is in very bad form. I lose all respect for people just can't wait to make a buck on something as serious as this is to our country.

Trump's base are the under-informed people who mainly live in Flyover Country. Low information voters. His big thing about the border & immigrants is just pandering to his base IMO.
