I don't think she was motivated by casualty count, but some kind of vengeance.

I do think the Media is disappointed is was not a conservative shooter.

I wasn't a fan of PETA in the old days of slaughtered pig pics. But the recent fur thing with hot naked chicks was good.

Maybe I'm too simple sometimes. If nazis spent millions and years running naked hot famous chick ads, maybe I'd be like "recently, they're not so bad." But PETA isn't inherently evil, so I'll cut them slack as long they keep up the good work.

Ehh...life needs death to eat. I watched a video on ant mound castings (something I do with molten lead) Some comments on the video "OMG the poor ants*no mention of Uncles*)

I get not causing needless suffering, but they take it to far!

Serves those ants right!

Fruitarians don't kill. Neither do many animals and virtually all plants. Fungus and bacteria mostly don't kill. Only 1 kingdom has many killers?

"life needs death to eat." is not accurate. Life could exist on this planet, up to and including humans, without any killers.

What can you eat that requires no death? A salad is the death of many plants, Life feeds on death in an infinite cycles, from the macro to the micro.

Fruitarians eat fruit and parts of plants that do not kill the plant itself. The point is to not kill plants. Below the plant kingdom, like microbes, killing cannot be avoided but it's not an intentional part of eating.

Grass eaters don't generally kill the plant, so we've got them. Fish that eat algae doesn't kill the entire organism. Bees...

I had a bumper crop of tomatoes from just 2 plants, I had so many I had to give them away to friends (as I don't can them) But now they are looking sad and it is time to plant another crop as they are petering out.

After it gets too warm at night, they wont set fruit. I did not kill the plants, but the natural cycle dictates they will die. It is the natural order of things,


Life on earth is a natural cycle of life and death, I don't think you would argue that being the thoughtful fella I have seen you to be.

My tomatoes are like weeds. New plants sprout from seeds left behind perpetually.

Things must die, but we nor life need to kill to eat. Some humans, most animals, virtually all plants, fungi, bacteria and microorganisms eat without killing plants or animals.

Doesn't kill plants or animals. I gave examples above. A cow grazing doesn't kill roots. A fish and algae, it doesn't kill the entire organism. Bees. Most insects and below.

Actually, one of the first thing reported was that she was white and wearing a head scarf. That indicates an Islamic woman, even without her name being known. Now, we find she identifies as Persian, and while some Persians are still Zoroastrians, most are Shia (Muslim).

It doesn't appear, however, that her religion played any role in her act. PETA draws some very fringe-type adherents from all religions, or no religions.

I'm a firm adherent of animal rights, and a vegan, myself, but I can't support the nuttiness of PETA. She had to have been a little off.

That's interesting. Who was the third? I can only think of this woman and the one in San Bernadino, and those two have something in common -- Islam.
