Fired FBI Official Andrew McCabe Soliciting Online Donations for Legal Defense Fund

Now you're trying to split hairs. He said that the funds would only be sued for his defense of the allegations against him. So far nobody has made any formal legal allegations. Maybe he knows something that we don't, like maybe his ass is in a sling for lying under oath and the reasons he was fired were justified. I find it funny that some people are gullible enough to donate to the guy. If he is charged and found guilty is he going to refund all of those donations? Probably not.

"There's a sucker born every minute".
P. T. Barnum

Considering the fact that there haven't been "formal legal allegations" then it's quite clear he's referring to the allegations you and all your buddies have been making.

He needs a defense because of what me and my buddies think? Damn. I am purdy powerful I guess. Reminds me of Manafort except Manafort hasn't gone to the public to start a gofundme page to get gullible people to donate to his defense fund. If McCabe is charged and found guilty would that mean that he screw over everyone that donated to his defense fund?

Flynn was indicted under one count for pleading that he had lied multiple times to the FBI. The Statement of the Offense (which Flynn in his plea agreement certified "fairly and accurately describes [his] actions and involvement") contains multiple lies.

An inaccurate statement isn't a lie. Do you know what a lie is? It sounds like you don't.

Have it your way. The indictment against Flynn is short, sweet, to the point, and essentially is for the same 'crime' of not recalling that he asked the Russian ambassador to not take retaliatory action for the sanctions that Obama imposed on Russia. Flynn supposedly had two perfectly legal discussions with the ambassador, both on the same subject about a week apart, and both immediately after Obama imposed sanctions on Russia that same month, well after the 2016 election, to embarrass and make things difficult for President-elect Trump.

Flynn's meeting with the ambassador were perfectly appropriate and perfectly legal. His failure to recall those encounters, if that is in fact what happened, are all the FBI has on him. We don't know what the FBI threatened him with if he refused to plead guilty, but given that the FBI, from all appearances, was actively working to get Hillary elected and, failing that, were determined to undermine and derail the Trump presidency, it will be interesting to see what the threat was.
