This is just an investigation, to say there's an investigation, as well muddy the waters on the the criminal finding related to Manafort, so Trump can pardon him in the Autumn.
Manafort did all his crimes before he was with Trump. These crimes occurred while working with a lobbying firm; The Podesta Group. They worked to lobby Ukraine. The Podesta Group was owned by the brother of John Podesta, who was the chief of staff under Bill Clinton. The Manafort crimes actually occurred when he teamed up with the Democrats.
If you recall, the Russians eventually invaded Ukraine, under Obama. While the Russians and Putin gave the Clinton foundation $140million years earlier. Are these all related? Did the Russians pay Clintons to influence the Podesta group and Manafort, to prime the Ukrainian President, for the invasion? That would be serious Russian collusion. The invasion occurred like the USA was sleeping on the job. Obama left the door open.
I am not sure why the crimes of Manafort are attached to Trump? Where are the journalists seeking the truth? The timing of the crimes of Manafort are attached to the Democrat party? Yet this is not who the narrative goes. This is how fake news adds cover to swamp crimes. What may happen is Manafort may give up evidence of the Democrat party dealings with Ukraine, so he can get a plea deal from the DOJ. Trump may not pardon Manafort, so he can be leveraged to play ball. The swamp media has tried to create the Trump-Manafort connection to Democrat crime, to discredit any future Manafort testimony against them; proactive doubt defense.
What I have noticed, Trump has hired people, as president, that are not with 100% him. Trump is not a career politician and he depended on others in the loop to tell him who to hire to maximize his utility. However, who recommended Manafort, Rosenstein and others who have a proven connection to deep state and Democrat crimes? Why are these crimes attached to Trump, even though they occurred under Obama? It smells of deep state and left wing propaganda. The IG will sort it out.
The problem with Mueller is he has a history of railroading innocent people, so he can appear smarter than he is. He sent four people to jail for a murder, when they were innocent. Two died in jail and the other two won a $100million dollar law suit for false imprisonment. Mueller fits right in with the Democrat swamp. He was easy to recruit, since he has baggage that could be used in professional blackmail. He is not innocent.
Mueller is also vulnerable since he was the director of the FBI during the sale of uranium to the Russians. He was aware of the Russians breaking all type of US laws; bribery and influence peddling, before the sale. This is documented. Mueller did not go through the proper congressional channels, so the sale could be reevaluated and crimes punished. In the end, the sale was performed and the Clintons earned $140Million. Mueller helped make that sale possible. Mueller is fighting for his own freedom. Hillary lost and so went his protection. Mueller will be part of a larger investigation, and he shows he needs to take out Trump, ASAP, by whatever means, including leaks, procedure crimes or innuendo. He will be part of the second special council investigation.
