Pulse gunman's father was FBI informant: report

So you agree with the other parts? I think that was the least relevant, I just included that at the end for flavor.

Sure, any institution may have corrupt elements. Her attorney, you trust attorney's by default more than FBI? I just don't get it.

I do agree with the other parts. I never said that you said to have blind faith in the FBI. I was just expressing why I don't. I don't trust anyone that isn't a good friend. I don't trust attorneys any more than I trust cashiers or vice versa. FBI agents are attorneys. You are asking me if I trust attorneys more than attorneys. I have worked with both the FBI and BATF. I only trusted one BATF agent out of all the agents I ever worked with. The FBI isn't more corrupt than most other govt organizations but that is sad that one can say that, since they are all attorneys and know better and should have better ethics. They are the ones that are expected to set the standard.

Damn dude. That is worse than I thought. Talk about a railroad job. I bet the judge at least declares a mistrial. From that article it looks like the judge should declare a mistrial. Good article. I haven't read that one. Thanks.

More than welcome, I get the feeling this case will be thrown out.

I guess then it's the nightclub shooter's father that told the FBI his son is no longer a threat ...

"... The FBI had kept confidential sources connected to the killer and tracked him since opening the investigation in 2013. According to one source, Comey said, Mateen had mentioned the videos of the extremist Islamic preacher Anwar al-Awlaki, who was linked to al-Qaida.
But the source told the FBI that when Mateen later got married, had a child, and became employed, he was no longer concerned about his allusions to radical Islam. ..."

James Comey on Orlando shooting, Omar Mateen - Business Insider

Has the confidential source in that quote been identified as the father?

Looks to me like FBI investigated the guy directly, and if he doesn't commit a crime or have well established ties to a terrorist group, he has rights.

Yeah, good find. Looked like this was a bomshell.

But when Fennern testified today, he admitted that the FBI had learned “within days” of Salman signing the statement that this claim was false. Using geolocation data from cellphone records and documentary evidence of the couple’s whereabouts, the FBI had already concluded — long before Salman was arrested — that it was impossible that she went to Pulse with Mateen on that date. Indeed, the evidence, as The Intercept documented previously, is very clear that the first time Mateen ever went to Pulse was to attack it, after simply searching Google for “nightclubs downtown Orlando.” The FBI agent also testified that Salman’s cellphone records show she was never near Pulse.

What's up with that.

From what I gathered the Judge ripped them a new one.

As Clint would say looks like a CF to me
