resident Trump did not follow specific warnings from his national security advisers Tuesday when he congratulated Russian President Vladi*mir Putin on his reelection — including a section in his briefing materials in all-capital letters stating “DO NOT CONGRATULATE,” according to officials familiar with the call.

Trump also chose not to heed talking points from aides instructing him to condemn the recent poisoning of a former Russian spy in Britain with a powerful nerve agent, a case that both the British and U.S. governments have blamed on Moscow.

The president’s tone drew a rebuke from Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, who wrote on Twitter: “An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections. And by doing so with Vladimir Putin, President Trump insulted every Russian citizen who was denied the right to vote in a free and fair election.”

Putin's Little Puppet couldn't even step aside from his adoration for his master for one single moment? Wow. Even a simple, three-word, all-caps warning did not help. Says a lot about this president. :thumbdown

NOTE: Advisers advise, they do not decide.

If they want to be the deciders then they will need to become a POTUS.

If they can.

So few can.

This has fake news written all over.

A POTUS should not need advisers to tell them not to congratulate a murdering thug like Putin for winning a rigged election.

And of course he does not.

He decided that the Geniuses were wrong.

He is President and they are not, and 40% of America supports Trump so the charges Mueller cooks up need to be Extra Special Good.

At this point I question his ability.

If you are the chief executive and commander-in-chief and you routinely don't read your daily briefings you're gonna miss **** and **** things up.

The NSA gave the memo to our temporary and deranged cinc, tdc.
They even gave this catastrophe BOLDED LETTERS, and the sick **** still didn't get the message.

Just the opposite message; Do Praise a murderous international hit man;
Don't stand with your staunchest ally, Great Britain; on those assassinations.

This is just more evidence that will be used to pull the 25th amendment trigger ...

That’s Trump. I seriously wonder if he understands that actions have consequences. Also, I wonder if he has a call outline or call agenda and I wonder if he reads it. I’m afraid he simply starts talking and **** just falls out of his mouth the same way it is jumbled in his brain.

Too bad the left is too stupid to see the irony of a congradulations for “winning” a patently fraudulent election. Id almost expect Putin to reply “Thanks smartass!”

From i24news 'Clear Cut' with Michelle Makori--can't imagine not having this outlet for international affairs.

If this is true, it's pretty concerning that the President doesn't listen to his national security advisers. That's why any President hires these people - they are smarter than he is at their specialties. All other Presidents hired advisers, but they actually listened to them, too. Sometimes that wasn't the best idea, but in a situation like this, it was the right advice.

I saw Huckabee-Sanders flailing, humiliating herself, and just being so damn dishonest yesterday about that call. That was sad. I'm really getting the impression that this country is doomed while Trump is at the helm.

Who cares if he congratulated him?

Did he grovel to one of Putin's underlings for more time, like a little scared child, that he would have more flexibility after the election? No. One of the most embarrassing moments in U.S. Presidential history.

Is there ANYTHING that the moron could do wrong in the eyes of the degenerates that support him?

I suspect not, especially when you have FOX anchors publicly wishing Putin would take over America. How much worse than that can you get?

Trump won't listen to his advisors. But he does listen to and take advice from Fox. So 1 of their host must have said something about it'd be a good idea for him to call.

Aw, yes, another anti Trump thread to divert from the 313,000 jobs created in FEBRUARY and the American taxpayers having more spendable income. I am certainly Putin loves the US economic results showing double the GDP Obama left us and more US military spending which of course benefits Russia, not sure how but I know the left will tell us.

All this anti Trump rhetoric and threads all showing just how radical today's leftists are as they long for the days of more socialism, more court interference, and more dependence on liberal spending.

Yes, as usual you focus on rhetoric and ignore actual results. your hatred has no bounds and just shows how radical you truly are

/yawn oh look, there is Con again spouting off copy and paste false rhetoric like he always does. :lamo

glad you agree that it is fake outrage.
then again i doubt you actually read the article.
it would get in the way of your ranting.

but it pretty much means thread over.

So you are saying that Trump is not any better than Obama?

Only people intelligent enough to understand reality.

And when Obama did the same thing how did the "intelligent" people react? I'm guessing you fawned like a teenage girl.
