NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York state judge on Tuesday said U.S. President Donald Trump must face a defamation lawsuit by a woman who accused him of sexually harassing her after she appeared on his former reality TV show.

The decision by Justice Jennifer Schecter of the New York state court in Manhattan in favor of California restaurateur Summer Zervos, a former contestant on NBC’s “The Apprentice,” raises the prospect that Trump might have to answer embarrassing questions in court about his behavior toward women.

Ms Zervos announced that she has filed a lawsuit against the President-elect in relation to claims that he groped and “aggressively kissed” her.

The former reality star has called on Mr Trump to “vindicate her reputation” by admitting to the allegations.
 
trump needs a lawyer just to keep track of all the sexual-assault accusations and lawsuits.

I would like to see ALL of the women that Trump has raped & groped to have their 'ME TOO' moment on his sorry butt ...........

Maybe then 'POTUS Forbes Magazine' will have the balls to resign, like Franken did ....................

Couldn't disagree more.

If we could all magically see the true character of Donald Trump, and it turned out to be angelic, his detractors would still vote against him.

If it turned out that he was the devil himself, his supporters would continue their support.

None of this changes anything. If he maintains his 35%-40% base, he gets re-elected in 2020.

I'm not sure how that follows. Independents decide elections, and they don't like him.
 
Personally I don't give a damn which adult female Mr. Trump had voluntary sex with (or even if he paid for it).

Mr. Clinton got into trouble because he didn't "open the debate" with something along the lines of

"Sure she gave me a BJ. It wasn't a very good one, but she wanted to do it."​

and the whole thing would have turned into a laugh-fest rather than an impeachment.

Independents elected him last time out. They held their noses and voted--they just hated the idea of a Democrat as President.
