Sights are set on bringing Taiwan back to the mainland. This is a very tricky positon for the US as we are obligated to by law (Taiwan Realations Act 1979) to defend Taiwan.

Trump will be fine with this if Xi throws him another parade.
 
The Chinese claim Okinawa because it was Chinese before 1609. They also claim Oklahoma because, while it was never Chinese, it should've been.

Why is China such dicks about Taiwan? Just let them be independent
