Explosion that injured 2 in SW Austin possibly triggered by tripwire

These explosive devices fit the profile of angry 'swarthy looking, Muslim men, too. I guess they need to not only roust white, male veterns, but Muslims, as well. Yes?

That's why I said they need to look at Muslim males, as well as white males.

The construction of the devices can tell them a lot, as well. If they match bombs that were used in Iraqn Afghanistan, etc. then, Muslim men need to be heavily scrutinized.

If the devices match something seen elsewhere, perhaps what someone would have had experience with in the military, then white male veterans need to be looked at, possibly black male veterans.

Honestly, though, the fact that there were no mass targets and no secondaries, probably rules out some AQ, or ISIS inspired cell/lone wolf.

My first guess would be some jerkoff who learned how to make an explosive device from the internet, but didn't bother learn anything about proper deployment; which is a good thing, probably.

The down side, is that he has learned how to make them go boom. Tactics can be learned through trial and error.

Given how sophisticated the bombs were, I doubt he lacked the knowledge to deliver them more lethal, even the dumbest terrorist can find an area with more targets. I do not believe mass casualties are his goal as much as a statement, what that statement is is what is baffling police and fbi. The guy doing it seems to want the attention more than the body count, I am seriously thinking we are seeing unabomber 2.0, especially since this guy has been smart enough to evade police fbi and atf, and likely texas rangers would get involved as well, which is like the special forces of the texas police force.

It has only been a couple of weeks. I don't know how much info the authorities actually have.

apparently not enough, explosion 6 just happened today at a goodwill dropbox, and number 7 was averted in the second package in the fedex facility, they seem to know nothing of the motive and have few leads. Many instances would never get this far without the perp being caught, however even with fbi resources as well as atf, 3 weeks eluding them is leaps and bounds ahead of what most in the past have gotten away with.
