Putin has been re-elected for another presidential term in Russia:

Vladimir Putin has won a fourth presidential term with more than 70 per cent of the vote, a strong result following a campaign troubled by lack of interest and an opposition boycott.

Seventy-six per cent had voted for Mr Putin with four-fifths of the ballots counted, the central electoral commission said in the early hours of Monday, matching exit poll results.

Although his victory was never in doubt, a poorer showing than the 64 per cent he got in the 2012 presidential election could have called into question the continuation of his 18-year rule.
Another six-year term will allow Mr Putin, 65, to rival Joseph Stalin as the country's longest-serving leader.

On Sunday evening, Mr Putin thanked supporters outside the Kremlin for his victory.

Caution: This election result may be the product of Russian influence. I know for a fact that various Russians have been spotted online, putting out their own political opinions favoring one side over another.

Trump fantasizes over those numbers.....

"Russian influence" refers to the state paying for stuff, not individuals expressing their opinion on their time.

Russian Citizens Had a Choice
A: Vote for Putin
B: If you don't Vote Putin you get your ass Beat or thrown in jail

The KGB thugs re-election was never in doubt.

The whole "election" was a farce.

I know right? Miraculous how much support you can win when you murder the opposition.

I wonder if there will be a Special Counsel in Russia to look into Trump tampering in their election? Wait, I think Mueller has already moved into that investigation. They will be very happy to have him.

Putin doesn't have to worry about any "special Counsel"...He is a thug dictator....No doubt trump would like to be the same...You'd like that right?

I’m shocked, anyone else?

In a stunning, unforeseen miracle of the ages... wait... Putin won? Yeah, like that wasn't going to happen.

Strange - I've been called a "Russian troll" numerous times, and I'm not even Russian, much less on any Russian payroll.

It seems that Putin/Kremlin/KGB has become a slur of convenience against anyone who disagrees with the Left.

If you don't like illegal aliens coming in across the southern border, then suddenly Leftards make snarky remarks about how "Putin is happy" that you're expressing such views.

If you don't like affirmative action hiring quotas, then Leftards again make snarky remarks about how "Putin must be pleased". Seriously, why the **** would Putin give a **** about the affirmative action debate in the US?

If you don't like welfare state policies, then suddenly you're called a "KGB agent". Waitasec, wasn't the KGB an instrument of a Soviet socialist state that epitomized welfare state policies?

If you feel that voter ID laws are essential for maintaining the integrity of the electoral system, the Leftards shriek that you're "serving Putin" and "undermining American sovereignty" - how the **** do they reach such upside-down conclusions?

The answer is, of course, that Leftards are lying self-deceiving compulsive liars who don't particularly care what drivel they're spouting from one moment to the next, whether it contradicts itself, whether it's logically consistent, whether it's coherent - just as long as they can attack their perceived enemy of the moment, they don't care what crap shoots out of their mouths.

Liberals represent the most vacuous glandular - essentially animalistic - sections of society. So they just run at any designated opponent like a pack of wild dogs, after stoking each other into a frenzy through their mutual barking.

Strange - I don't see similar commentary from you when Xi does it in China. For some strange reason, the only thing that gets Leftards triggered is Russia-Russia-Russia.

From i24news, Putin may have got into the 70s for percent vote,
but the voter turnout was far short of what he wanted ...

Last checked China did not try to interfere with the US Election...Russia did...Your hero trump and his goons colluded with Russia......Yet the trump lovers seem to think that is okay...Zdrastuvite...Where are posting from Moscow or St Petersburg?

Yea laugh it off....As far as we know Trump has already turned over the nuclear codes to Putin. He has not made a single statement about Putin's poisoning of an entire block in GB or Putin's film depicting a nuclear attack on Florida. Trump is a clear and present danger to our freedom and must be stopped.

Trump's major agenda push this week will highlight his plan to tackle the opioid crisis. But it's a good bet that initiative will be overtaken by a fresh round of West Wing chaos, speculation about personnel shake-ups and revelations about the legal duel between the President and Stormy Daniels, a porn star who claims she had an affair with Trump more than decade ago.
But, far from being put off by the turmoil rocking his administration, Trump appears to be relishing a new chapter of his presidency, as he axes and undermines aides he distrusts and gives his impulsive personality free rein.
The result is that the President is leading Washington, the nation and the world into an even more unpredictable phase, testing the limits of his political power at home and putting the international system under extreme strain.

How do you know that China didn't try to interfere with the election? What proof do you have of that, if you didn't investigate?
Prior to the 2016 elections, China had been known to engage in some major hacking attempts against the United States, including stealing the personnel records of all US federal govt workers. There was the theft of the W-88 warhead secrets. China's new jet fighters look to have a number of features lifted from the latest US fighter jets. There's been plenty of hacking going on from China - you just don't like to admit it, because it doesn't suit your interest to.

Absolutely none of this diatribe expresses the phony election that just kept Putin in power.
